The house of Dior continues to expand its line of Miss Dior fragrances, formerly known as Miss Dior Cherie, with the new edition Miss Dior Le Parfum launching in September 2012. Miss Dior Le Parfum is the new perfume extract, more dense and rich with pronounced sophisticated character.

The scent is described as a seductive, elegant, sensual and intoxicating nocturnal fragrance, suitable for a special rendezvous. It states its femininity with oriental-chypre character and prominent and opulent floral notes.

Perfumer François Demachy said he “wanted to bring something precious and luminous to the composition of Miss Dior Le Parfum, like an oriental jewelry set or the reflections of shimmering fabric.” The composition includes high concentrations of the following ingredients: mandarin, Bulgarian rose absolute, Turkish rose absolute, patchouli, amber and vanilla.

Top notes: mandarin
Heart: Bulgarian rose, Turkish rose
Base: amber, patchouli, vanilla

The face of the perfume is elegant yet natural actress Natalie Portman who shows a new aspect of her seduction: more confident and more womanly. Miss Dior Le Parfum is available as a perfume extract in a bottle of 40 ml.
Update: Gave this a try recently and unfortunately on me it is "Migraine City" - very very strong. Washed it off when I got home but the smell still lingered after I had a shower as well. I am still missing the 2011 Miss Dior Cherie with the strawberry (no popcorn like the 2005) but that one is no longer being made! May have to go back to Chanel Coco Madamoiselle - that seems to be staying the same - "Too many Miss Dior's spoil the perfume" I say!
bravo Dior ! At last a good one in the miss doir range ! But still disappointed that dior has put the classic Miss dior in the drawer !
I emailed Dior's customer service and they said that Miss Dior Le Parfum will be available in a 40 ml bottle for $82. Not sure why some blogs are quoting $175.
Is this really an extrait? Neiman has it on their site for $82 but no size description. If it's really an extrait and that's the price, BRAVO and I will be needing it. : )
Dior is definitely abusing the brand by releasing so many different flankers that all smell very similar, and the reformulations/name changes, is this a new perfume extract for miss Dior or miss Dior, who knows that is why you don't sell to completely different scents yet call them the same name.
It is even worse in Australia, they have miss Dior and miss Dior next to each other and they are still selling miss Dior Cherie as well.
Rant over :/
I smelled this in a magazine strip thing.
I don't know how much stock you guys take in those (I bought one of my signatures because of one of those things so I don't discount them lol)
but "Miss Dior" le parfum smelled very luxurious in it!
I'll definitely be trying it now.
While I adore Dior fragrances, I too am sick of all the flankers, name changes, new formulations etc. etc.
But having said that, it does sound lovely! I love J'adore L'or better than J'adore, so we will see.
Although the thought of yet another Dior Miss Dior Cherie Dior Cherie lalalala lol, you get the hint, just gave me a slight headache, this actually looks like one I could love!
Sounds quite luscious - I will be very interested to try this one. I quite like the sweetness and freshness of the 2011 Miss Dior Cherie but the new one sounds as though it will be a more grown up Miss Dior! As I have now used up every drop of the 2011 "Cherie" am in the market for a new perfume. Wonder if they will still keep the 2011 one going or are slowly getting rid of all the Cheries and only having the one "Miss Dior". Guess we will know in time. Is the original Miss Dior from way back when still going to be available??
I think it's the same concept as Ja'dore, the tab version 7.5ml perfume extrait replace by Ja'dore L'or, a 40ml spray version perfume.
Wow another Miss Dior that will probably smell the same as the rest of them. I'm always confused when I go to the Dior counter because they all look the same, sometimes it seems the sales assistants don't even know which is which now.
Nathalie is cute indeed, but as for the fragrance, when I see it in the store, I am confused, I simply don't know any more is it a flanker of this or that flanker, and is there any possibility to find the very first, original?
I want this soooo bad!
Good grief! Is this their highest seller ever?! They've smoked Miss Dior up the Goldman ass!
That being said, Natalie is my girl
Natalie is sooo perfect <3
