Dirty English for Men is created in cooperation with Claude Dir, the nose of the Givaudan house. It opens with peppered mandarin, blue cypress, Calabrian bergamot, cumin and cardamom. The heart brings marjoram and black leather accords accompanied with sandalwood, Atlas cedar and vetiver root which create a fatal effect, while the base reveals agarwood, ebony, black moss and amber musk.
Dirty English for Men will be available from mid-March 2008 in some stores, while world-wide from mid-April 2008.
Besides Dirty English for Men and the matching body care collection, at the same time Juicy Couture will launch a line of sunglasses for men. After that, Juicy Couture will introduce baby clothes, male and female underwear, pajamas and sleep gowns and a new, just announced, Juicy Couture fragrance for women! Opening of the first Flagship store is announced for August 2008 in New York City, and it is expected 60 more stores to be opened in the US, as well as the expansion of the brand in Asia.

I love this one. Unfortunately my husband doesn't so I'd be wearing it myself if I purchased it. Still, it's a dark, spicy leathery wonder, not too far from other scents today, but with enough sharp, woody spice that it keeps its edge until the vetiver drydown. The cumin, which I generally abhor, is so masked that it only adds the sense of heat without the smell of sweat, kicking up the spice in direct and contrasty opposition with the cool notes of bergamot and mandarin. Yup, I really like this one.
