ESXENCE 2013 Pre-Overview

Esxence is a niche perfume exhibition that takes place every spring (end of March) in Milan, in Palazzo La Permanente. This year Esxence celebrates five years of very efficient service to artistic perfumery from all over the world. Esxence started in 2009, with an already very impressive number of exhibitors for a new venture: 85 brands, coming from Europe, USA and other parts of the world. Their names we see again in the new list of exhibitors of Esxence 2013.

Very well known perfume houses, such as CREED, Clive Christian, Floris, Frapin, Houbigant, Fragonard, Molinard and Xerjoff are going to introduce their new perfumes and even new collections. But Esxence is also a good place for start-ups! We can see new brands on the list and are very curious to smell and write about their creations: FRIEDEMODIN, ANN GERARD, STÉPHANE HUMBERT LUCAS 777, COQUILLETE PARIS, ELECTIMUSS, ESTHER P, etc.

Fragrantica has followed the Esxence exhibition since 2011 and we love this event, because it is more than just another trade show; it's a place where you enjoy and learn. All participants are welcome to visit the conference hall on the second floor for lectures, workshops, olfactory tastings, book presentations and more. Elena Knezhevich founded Fragrantica together with Zoran Knezevic in 2007. Since then Elena has taken care of its design and content as the Editor-in-Chief. Elena was born in Russia, studied Slavic languages and literature in Moscow, and lived in Sarajevo and Belgrade, where the idea of Fragrantica was born. Now she resides in California. "I have had a nomadic life style since I was born, changing homes, cities and countries. I love having this island on the Internet that I built myself, to reach from everywhere and feel at home."
