Eva Mendes the New Face of Calvin Klein Fragrance

Coty, the license owner of Calvin Klein fragrances, has presented face of the new and not yet named Calvin Klein fragrance. The face for the new fragrance will be actress Eva Mendes who was the Face of Revlon for the past few years. She also worked on DKNY campaigns and was a model for Gap.

Eva Mendes is American actress of Cuban origins, born in 1974 in Miami, Florida.

She starred in movies Exit Wounds (2001) with Steven Seagal, 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), Out of Time (2003) with Denzel Washington, Hitch (2005) with Will Smith and Ghost Rider (2007) with Nicolas Cage.

She was selected to become the new CK fragrance face due to the fact that both men and women find her attractive, sexy, refined, and of course, suitable for this role. Thus after Kate Moss, Scarlett Johansson and Christy Turlington, it will be her face on the TV ads, posters and Internet presentations for the new fragrance.

The new fragrance will be promoted and presented to the broader public world-wide in October 2008.

As for Eva Mendes and her engagements, she is currently shooting a movie called 'The Women' together with Jada Pinkett Smith, Meg Ryan, Carrie Fisher and Annette Bening. The movie premiere is scheduled for fall 2008.

She has just finished shooting the thriller-fantasy movie 'The Spirit', which will start playing at the beginning of 2009.
