Following the success of Ferrari Essence Oud, this house lunches the new Ferrari Silver Essence, which arrives in the very same bottle as its predecessor, only this time colored in silver. The fragrance brings cool woody-spicy-oriental notes that emphasize the strength, dynamics and luxury of the new edition. In the manner of Essence Oud that promotes the Ferrari's emblematic shade of red in a symbolic way, the new Silver essence honors the attractive chrome surfaces of Ferrari cars!

Inspired by silver-metallic shades, the top notes are composed of silver sage, gray pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon and thyme leaves skilfully arranged to leave the impression of a cool and silvery opening. The heart continues with the same silvery-ice beat offering a blend of silver birch, lavender, patchouli and coconut powder, while the base emanates the magical combination of smoky incense, mineral musk, Atlas cedar and Guaiac wood.

Any idea who the perfumer is for this? My guess - based on the notes and the fact that he has worked for them before - is Alberto Morillas. Only in Morillas compositions have I seen 'mineral x' listed (like 'mineral amber' listed in his Versace PH). The cinnamon/sage/patchouli combo also makes me think it might be him, as he used that exact same combo of notes in the excellent Mauboussin PH.
