Fragrantica at Alltop

Two days ago, on March 11, 2008, Guy Kawasaki formally announced Alltop at his blog. Alltop, together with Truemors, a web site which contains unusual breaking news, stories and rumors, are owned by Nononina Company, established by three persons, Will Mayall, Kathryn Henkens, and Guy Kawasaki.

Alltop is 'a news aggregation site which covers "all the top" stories for forty of the most popular topics on the web'.

Alltop came out from an idea to gather different most interesting topics all in one place. The Alltop stories collections are grouped into individual Alltop sites based on topics in a form of 'table of contents', which makes Alltop a starting point for the search.

The forty of the most popular topics on the web that can be found at Alltop include science, environment, politics, fashion, celebrity gossip, gaming, sports, automobiles, and Macintosh. Each page contains thirty or more sites, displaying the latest five stories from each of them.

Chris Shipley, the chairman of Guidewire Group and executive producer of DEMO says: "Alltop is deceptively simple. The site gathers up the best suggestions from the most active social web users and compiles links into a simple, clean discovery space. For many, Alltop will replace their RSS readers."

Fragrantica.com has a pleasure to be included at Alltop as one of the sites displayed in the 'Fashion' subgroup, which is, together with autos, design, music and photography, listed under the 'Culture' section.
