Gai Matiollo presents a fragrant duo which will thrill all fans of fragrant exotics in a flacon. Themes of the new editions are Hawaii, their aromas, temperament, climate, beauty… Collection Exotic Paradise arrives on the market in 2009 and encompasses two limited editions, for men and women:

That's Amore! Gai Matiollo Exotic Paradise Lei Hawaiian Vanilla
That's Amore! Gai Matiollo Exotic Paradise Lui Hawaiian Water

Heaven for women, That's Amore! Gai Matiollo Exotic Paradise Lei Hawaiian Vanilla was created by Bernard Ellena. The fragrance opens in top notes with exotic scents of freesia, cedar and coconut sorbet. A heart incorporates tiare, jasmine, sunny orchid, blond wood and apricot, while a base hides Hawaiian vanilla, sandalwood, amber, palm tree and musk. Its package was created by Serge Mansau, who combined applications on the flacon with theme of the collection.

Fragrant heaven for men, That's Amore! Gai Matiollo Exotic Paradise Lui Hawaiian Water opens with pineapple, sea aromas and grapefruit. A heart includes water lily, Hawaiian bamboo and ginger. A base features Haitian vetiver, amber and fig leaves. This exotic edition was created by Alain Astori and Beatrice Piquet. The flacon was created by Serge Mansau.

Hmmm...I'd actually like to try BOTH of these just to see if they remind me of Hawaii. Since I'm from there...I'm very curious to see if he was able to capture the "essence" of my old home. Many people have tried....so far, I haven't found one that has succeeded. I will be receiving Colonia Dulce by Maoli, so it would be nice to have these tested side by side to see which one seems more "authentic". Most tropical fragrances I've tried seem as if they're trying too hard to be tropical. The beauty of Hawaii is that it's actually quite simple...the food...the flavors...the smell...yet somehow, it manages to be exotic and beautiful just by sitting in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
