After a long, white winter and dark, earthy colours, the first light green nuances announce nicer weather and the awakening of spring. This color provides rest for the eyes and relaxes all our senses. The color which is found between blue and yellow in the electromagnetic visual spectrum is the color of peace and harmony, youth, revitalization and progress…

The color Green is the color of life, nature and several minerals, among which the most precious is emerald. When I think about this color, my first associations are young, healthy leaves of grass, green fruits of unripe lemon and bergamot, hellebore flower and soft moss resting on dry wood bark. Forest fern has thousands of green nuances, just like my favorite sour and juicy green apples.

Watching the new editions during the several last months, I notice a large number of fragrances in light green flacons. This is definitely the trend of the season! The light green color of jade becomes more and more present on the shelves of perfumeries.

Whether they are fresh or not, fragrances in green flacons have certainly announced this spring. Bvlgari Omnia Green Jade evokes the color of jade with its floral-aquatic composition. Mediterranean freshness in the Italian style is brought by new Versace Versense. Dior Miss Dior Cherie L’Eau embodies a chic Parisian lady who is fresh and sparkling, and shows the energy of youth and French charm with its luminous, floral composition.

Avon has launched as many as three green fragrances this year: Absynthe in cooperation with C.Lacroix, Wish of Luck and Ironman for men, which represents the sports spirit and temperament. The house of Calvin Klein includes a limited pair in green nuances of Eternity Summer, refreshing the summer versions for men and women, in their rich collection.

A breath of exotics arrives from the Seychelles, Baldessarini Del Mar Seychelles which takes us to the exotic, lush flora of the island by a luxurious yacht.
