Hermes Eau des Merveilles Limited Edition 2009

Hermes presents a new, limited flacon of Eau des Merveilles, which arrives on the market in 2009. It is light, unusual and inspired by New Year's fir tree decorations. The flacon was designed by Serge Mansau, who decorated this edition with golden applications, little iridescent clouds which float and reveal magic of starry sky. The bottle is romantic to the finest details, it enchants with a small figure of a person looking through a telescope towards the starry sky, excited about the possibility of finding its own fragrant star.

Eau des Merveilles was launched in 2004 as a blend of interesting notes, which totally lacks floral aromas in its ingredients. It opens with accords of elemi, lemon and bitter orange, with a heart full of pink pepper, Indonesian black pepper, amber and violet, while base notes incorporate oak moss, cedar, vetiver, Peruvian balm and benzoin. Creators of the magical water are Ralf Schwieger and Nathalie Feisthauer.

After Eau des Merveilles, new fragrant creations of the house of Hermes appeared: Eau des Merveilles Constelation, Pegasus, Elixir des Merveilles from 2006, as well as Parfum des Merveilles.
