An Ode to Tuberose was presented with a new collection by the house of Histoires de Parfums, which includes three fragrances with key ingredient – tuberose flower. The fragrances were created to tingle your imagination with an oriental-gourmand-powdery composition of the first fragrance of the collection - Tubereuse 1 Capricieuse, romantic-oriental-fruity notes of Tubereuse 2 Virginale and animalistic-floral-leather composition refreshed with top notes of citrusy nuances Tubereuse 3 Animale.

Tubereuse 1 Capricieuse opens with fresh, citrusy scents of mandarin and bergamot spiced with saffron. A heart hides thick, sexy, floral notes of iris, ylang-ylang and tuberose melting in sophisticated passions of cocoa, while a base incorporates white musk and suede.

Tubereuse 2 Virginale introduces perfect harmony of fruity notes with cherry and mandarin in a top, which add an opulent and feminine bouquet of iris, tuberose, tiare flower and frangipani, while an oriental base is built around blond wood, patchouli, vanilla and white musk.

The third fragrance of this collection, Tubereuse 3 Animale, intoxicates and seduces with irresistible aromas of tuberose resting on floral-woody accords resting on a honey base of tobacco and immortal. Top notes encompass bergamot, mandarin, neroli and cumquat, a heart adds jasmine, tuberose, dried grass and plum, while a base finishes with hay, tobacco, immortal, woody notes and irresistible tuberose.

All three fragrances are available as 120 EDP, as well as in a travel set which includes all three fragrances in amount of 13.5 ml each. Price of 120 ml is $185, while travel set is available for $96 on vivre.com.

I am looking forward to try all of them soon. They seem promising and I usually love tuberose perfumes (not all varieties but most of them). And for sure I will buy one of those travel packs when they are for sale in Europe.

I was the first American writer to smell these and they were not on the market. My favorite is the animale... i highly recommend the virginale for a beautiful fruity floral whish smells a little like 1804. The strangest is the capriciouse.... that is on my skin. gerald is a terrific perfuemr and a former chef... you can buy this now on vivre.com there is a new line coming out based on the moulin rouge.... that should be soon

Oh, that sounds so nice!
HdP is the most lovely and intresting niche house that I've encountered.

To SedNonSatiata: I think they've offered the travel set(you can choose 3 scents freely) already at their counters, though there's only a picture shown at their offical site right now.

Oooh I love this line.
I also love that they make a travel set with all three, rather than three of the same.
