In Love with Desert

Hot, dry and mystical, totally irresistible – desert makes almost one third of Earth's mainland. The sand that creates the desert is as iridescent as a precious gem and it changes colours from light nuances to warm, golden colours. The desert seems peaceful and calm, it is so quiet and gentle, but hides power inside itself and attracts magnetically with its curves.

The largest amounts of sand are situated in sand seas and desert covers, which decorate landscapes with their waves named dunes. The wind that moves them creates inexplicable and long-lasting game of shapes and shifts. When you take sand and slip it through your hands, you can feel warmth of those small grains fondling your hands and skin. They are gentle and warmed by the afternoon sun. Dry and warm sand wraps you with unusual glow of its nuances with no water or moisture. As if it tried to bewitch you with its beauty... 

Dune is my desert. My fairy-tale and everyday life within arm's reach. Its bottle has the colour of sun, dunes and sand, it is elegant and smooth just like a real desert dune, with curves moving like waves in hot desert sun. It keeps divine aromas, which are dry and salty, floral and intoxicating, like a potion which will recuperate you in the hotness surrounding you. 
 
The perfume intoxicates from the very first contact, it seduces and tears down all barriers. Just like a desert, it is able to attract you and capture you, leaving you in an eternal fight between attraction and survival. Dune is light and desirable, wrapping your aura with its floral contents, with aromas of hot sand, salt in the air carried by gentle breezes, with aromas of sea, brought from far away, creating real refreshment among warmth and hotness of this fragrance. 
 
Dune was presented in 1991 and created by Jean-Louis Sieuzak. I believe he was inspired by some of Sheherezada's fairy-tales, by Sahara wind or distant, exotic coasts with endless sandy beaches. Dune is an intimate and very authentic story. The woman it is dedicated to is not inferior to man, but true to herself, free and strong. She enjoys the moment, stops time and walks peacefully through shallow water where sea water and sand touch her feet and ankles... 
 
The oriental, floral and aquatic aromas will seduce you from the minute you put it on. It will attract you with sweetish accentuated aromas of wallflower, ylang-ylang, Spanish broom, peony and lily, with a warm amber wave. The perfume fondles your skin for a long time and leaves a desirable trail on your skin. It is suitable for every day of the year: it will enrich winter day with a warm breath of summer, while summer day will be even more complete and special.

Dune is a dream you dream with your eyes wide open, or at least I experience it as such.
