Korloff Fragrant Diamonds – Perfume Collection Kn°I, Kn°II and Kn°III

I would not like to use the phrase that diamonds are a woman's best friends, but that they are one of the most beautiful decorations of every woman. The house of Korloff Paris certainly has the knowledge and experience to shape unprocessed diamonds into real perfection. They are known for their famous black diamond, the Korloff Noir, as well as for special processing and cutting which makes the gem's surface glitter in an even more opulent and beautiful way (the Korloff cut). Besides their luxurious jewelry, Korloff has introduced three very interesting perfumes, and they are connected to the trademark of the house—diamonds, with their compositions, theme and color.

A press release which has been offered to us by the house of Korloff Paris has been published on time, just before their presentation of the new perfume collection at the fair in Cannes—TFWA. I would like to describe each gem separately now.

The blue, green and pink fragrances Korloff are marked with ordinal numbers and presented in bottles which reflect the high quality of a master's  work on their bottles. The perfumes are crowned with stoppers associates with specially processed diamonds and they  are a real challenge for every woman, just like real diamonds. The compositions are envisaged to show luxury and the airiness of gems. In touch with your skin they abrade and develop their ingredients to perfection, just like processing each gem makes it more perfect.


The first perfume of the collection, green Korloff Kn°I refreshes with its green aromas with barely noticeable pineapple zest, with juicy and tame scents of herbs, transparent yet luxurious enough to continue the opening refreshment with gentle, floral notes of freesia, lily of the valley and sea aromas. This harmonic and elegant fragrance does not become warmer towards its finish, but stays tame, fresh and very pleasant. The story of this edition is connected with a modern woman who looks for an unobtrusive and refreshing fragrance which will wake her up, follow her through the day and introduce modern notes which will not muffle her temperament. The modern Karloff woman does not run from elegance or from her femininity. I believe that hectic times do not change her or make her trendier, but make her strive for pure and clear aromas and freshness. The green gem of the collection really develops the floral green rhythm of the composition.


The second edition, Korloff Kn°II , a blue diamond which was inspired by blue nights in Ceylon, reinterprets the aromas of air and moist made mild by citruses breezes. A soft opening calms you down and a hint of freshness and bitterness intoxicates, but also rests your body and soul. It is exotic from the very beginning.  It flirts with sweet passions introduced by evening, and it tingles with elegant white flower aromas and mild powdery aromas of iris and the root-like scent of vetiver in its heart. The fragrance is opulent and harmonic, starting from sweet passions to darker night and deeper aromas, which mesmerize your thoughts like a sticky touch. The sweet candy of the collection, blue Korloff 2 is worth attention. It mixes exotic cocktails with its zests and it intoxicates you. Balmy Tonka in a warm vanilla embrace with a woody base waits secretly for morning in Ceylon.  It is dedicated to a "woman who changes her dreams into reality," as said by the house of Korloff, but hopefully not alone in a night in Ceylon, especially not with this perfume!

The red diamond of the collection is airy and cheerful. It is a representative of red nuances.  The third Korloff lady was announced as passionate, impulsive and ultimately seductive. Fragrant challenge Korloff Kn°III takes us to the kingdom of Siam with its opulent floral aromas, with characteristic weaving tucked in a musk embrace with vanilla and amber in a base.

The flower above all other flowers, Ylang-Ylang, dominates with its sweet and intoxicating fragrances in the beginning. It is softened with bergamot and freesia, but is certainly memorable and passionate. Alcohol-like, earthy charm is followed by floral aromas, just like a precious cocktail, without thickness, but high-quality, airy and attractive. A musk trail with patchouli rules in the heart, and the floral aromas can be felt on the skin for a long time. The fragrance softens towards its finish and becomes wrapped in vanilla and warm amber.

All three bottles are available in amounts of 88 ml and made of specially cut and styled glass in the spirit of creations by the house of Korloff. The fragrant diamonds will not glow like real ones, but they will decorate neck and cleavage of modern ladies who care about their looks and their choice.
