The story that follows the new collection launched by L'Occitane this spring begins in this beautiful French small town which mixes the scents of the mountain region with beneficial breezes from the sea in the French Riviera. This extraordinary collection offers four fragrances inspired by nature, landscapes and the atmosphere characteristic of Southern France.

The new collection La Collection de Grasse was created by the founder of L'Occitane, Olivier Baussan and perfumer Karine Dubreuil. Scents of Provence were tastefully transferred to four beautiful compositions: Vanille & Narcisse, Magnolia & Mure, Jasmine & Bergamote and The Vert & Bigarade (the only unisex).
Karine Dubereuil was born and raised in Grass. As she states, she was fortunate enough to work with excellent perfumers, including the members of her family. She spent her time in the lab, testing the perfumes in production which would soon after appear on the market, so she always had a good insight into the perfume industry. She has been taught perfumery at the prestigious Roure school in Grasse, and she always felt a close association with Provence, with its scents, its very best ingredients and raw materials… She’s delighted to have the chance to collaborate with L’Occitane on its new collection, which blends the highest quality raw materials, both locally sourced and obtained from faraway places. The latest collection comprises of three feminine fragrances, and one unisex scent.

Why Vanille? Why? Yuck.
A NO for me. Sigh.
L' Occitane is definetely not niche perfumery.
L'Occitane En Provence is a France-based cosmetics company.
But what they do, they do it well.
these sound promising...nothing has wow'ed me since 2002..of this brand..so we shall see.
yes, l'Occitane is niche perfumery, I believe.
I am excited for the mures and magnolia one:)
An SA told me around Mother's Day in the U.S. ...But isn't every day Mother's Day?
It sounds like a great collection, well put together
I heard this won't be released until late summer or early fall in the US....But I can't wait! I love L'occitane perfumes! <3
Nice! I love L'Occitane. I enjoyed the promotional video with Ms. Dubreuil. I wish I could be there in Provence right now with its "exceptional terroir"! :-) Hopefully, I will get to try the new fragrances.
Definitely not!
Please, is L'Occitane niche perfumary?
