Lalique Cascade and Scorpios – Limited Editions for 2010

After last year's luxurious crystal flacons of 'Aphrodite' and 'Athlete', Lalique is presenting Cascade and Scorpios, limited editions inspired by famous pieces by Rene Lalique.

Cascade is designed based on the Poissons fountain from 1937. Fragrance body represents fountain basin, matt cap is made of three fish jumping out of the fountain and geometric stand gives special appeal and accentuates shape of the flacon. Game of contrasts is depicted clearly by a combination of geometry and elements of the world of animals. The fragrance inside this luxurious flacon is Lalique from 1992. Notes encompass blackberry, currant, mandarin and gardenia; peony, magnolia, ylang ylang, orange blossom and rose; amber, vanilla, musk, sandalwood, cedar and moss. The fragrance is available as 100 ml perfume extract for 980 EUR.

Scorpios is an edition for men from 2010, available in limited number. A scorpion is associated with danger because of the reputation of its poisonous sting, deadly for humans. Even Egyptian pharaohs believed it was important because of its characteristics and beauty. Astrologists named a constellation after it (near Milky Way, between Libra and Sagittarius constellation). Many people are fascinated and inspired by scorpion. A challenge made designers of the house of Lalique to create a crystal scorpion. Separate elements were accentuated by various polishing techniques. Game of unique shine with matt contrasts and fascinating details of the scorpion is placed on a cylindrical stand with fragrance Lalique Pour Homme Lion from 1997. This fragrance incorporates: bergamot, mandarin, grapefruit, lavender and rosemary; iris, jasmine, lily of the valley and cedar; sandalwood, amber, patchouli and vanilla.

Lalique Scorpios is available as a limited edition - 30ml EDP cost 960 EUR.
