I am not a fan of super cloyngly sweet. But I found that sweet can be presented in more restrained and genuine way than in LVEB. Here is the description of Lolita Lempicka's (I am not a big fan of)first fragrance Lolita Lempicka copied from the official site:

"A fragrant note of Liquorice combined with Aniseed, Ivy, Violet and Tonka Bean with the sweet rich notes of Amarena Cherry, Vanilla and Praline. This blend gives way to sensual floral notes with Iris and Musk undertones. It is a subtle blend of sensations that stirs the senses."

Ingredients are very simular to La Vie est Belle, but Lolita feels less heavy applied to the skin and very short living.

I realize that patchouli in the base is the source of the minty incense smell that is present in LVEB and not present in Lolita and probably adds to longevity.

Also,

It smells wounderfull and it is strong for a change.
Their is a known fragrance lingering around it and it is Trésor.
I will be getting it soon here in Canada.

Love the bottle - the notes sound different to everything else that is out there at present - be very interested to try blackcurrant/pear/iris/orange blossom/jasmine with the praline and patchoulie notes! Definitely one that you would have to "wrist test" on your own skin before buying - could be fantastic or disastrous! Looks promising though. (I am not a great fan of iris but with all the other notes it may not be too noticeable).

Not impresed. Overly sweet shrill generic post-IFRA floral.

It's wonderful.

I've tried it (sample from Lancôme ) and it's simply gorgeous; feminine, warm, sweet but subtle- my friend sys it reminded her of a Jimmy Choo fragrance. This & Prada Candy will be my autumn/ winter scents.

The bottle looks so lovely and as I saw Julia Roberts' face, her smile, it made me feel so warm :) So beautiful. Hope the fragrance will be as beautiful as the bottle plus ad

Shalimar Initial look alike and smell alike? Will test it when it comes out.. But I'm suspicious.

Beautiful bottle, beautiful name, and the notes sound lovely too - I can't wait to test it. But if I were flipping through a magazine I would assume the ad was for whitening toothpaste.

The notes sound so promising and I'm really looking forward to trying it. Have yet to find a scent with praline that has really done anything for me.

And Julia Roberts does Indeed have a HUGE mouth housing an even bigger and GORGEOUS set of teeth! Her smile is a trademark and I quite frankly find nothing scary about it. She is also beautiful, IMHO. ^-^

Oh my! That is one very scary smile, not good for fragrance advertisement, more propriate for toothpaste or toothbrush commercial. I hope that the bottle will be stable, looks like it is half empty, but the bottom may be made out of heavy glass so it does look interesting.

I like Anne Hathaway to be the product ambassador.

A beautiful, soft and gentle looking bottle inexplicably backed by an awful photo of toothy Julia grinning like a homicidal maniac.

Julia is not some icon of style , to my mind, may be too grown-up to simbolize such a smell ...

But the bottle itself looks tender and adolescent, so I would like to taste the aroma if it is not too powdery ...

This sounds nice. I want to try it.

Now, that's what I call innovation and risk taking in the perfume industry!!

That bottle is so lovely. I like alot of the notes in this..especially iris. I'll definiatly try this one out.

A brand new fragrance, in the flankers Era, is more than welcome :)

Personally I think this one will be more than pleasant, at least to me: a slighty gourmand flororiental, with hints of powderness and a joyful/relaxed mood to it (that's how I imagine it, reading the notes).

Julia Roberts is stunning with that impressive smile, she also appeared in Lavazza coffee's ad lately :D

The bottle is simple and original, rare match.
And now, thanks to the ABUSE of photoshop, Julia Roberts is PRE ADOLESCENT again!
But: why?

All the notes sound good, except the iris. Don't like iris. Hope it's getting overpowered by the other notes. Will be testing this!
