The Fragrance Kitchen (TFK), a perfume house from Kuwait, celebrates its new store opening at Selfridges in London with the new perfume Ambrosea. The store corner opens on September 12. Two other new exclusives by TFK, Luminous and Teardrops, will be available in Moscow (TSUM).

The Fragrance Kitchen was founded by Sheikh Majed Al-Sabah in 2005 (as it's mentioned on TFK site), although their first boutique was opened in 2012. The core of the line made traditional Arabian blends of oud, Taif rose and amber—the dear scents and memories of Sheikh Majed's beloved grandmother. The TFK offer is quite impressive: it contains 56 perfumes so far! When you come to the TFK boutique, as the Fragrantica team did in Milan at La Rinascente, you simply have no excuse to proceed exploring the department store. Because here, in the boutique, you have any possible type of fragrance you can remember: traditional Arabian mixes, any kind of oud blend, as well as refreshing fougeres, chypres, young fruity florals, florientals, musks, ambers, marine fragrances, etc.

Luminous and Teardrops, warm as if they were composed especially for cold Russian winters, will be sold exclusively in Moscow starting this month (September 2013).

LUMINOUS

Luminous is an oriental woody fragrance with a refreshing fruity top note composed of lemon and apple. The composition gets warmer with the fragrance's development. The heart notes includes cinnamon and sage, while the base features cedarwood, musk and amber.

TEARDROPS

Teardrops is a spicy woody blend: after a peppy greeting with nutmeg, the composition dries down into a warm woody domain (cedarwood, patchouli, musk in the base).

AMBROSEA

For Londoners, TFK formulated a fresh green floral composition. It starts with luminous citrus notes (lemon, bergamot) and green glabanum. The heart blooms with jasmine, rose and lilac, over a smooth base that features musk, vetiver and cedar wood.

In addition to the new boutiques, TFK customers from Dubai will have another TFK retail space in Dubai in September. Until this time you can introduce yourself to TFK perfumes in Kuwait, Milan, Florence, Moscow, Dubai and soon at Selfridges in London.
