Luxurious Isabey Gardenia In the Color of Gold

Panouge—Isabey Gardenia is a reissue of the Isabey Paris house fragrance presented in 2006, in a luxurious golden bottle. Isabey Gardenia is a luxurious and timeless classic.

This sensual fragrance is composed as a floral fragrance with ylang-ylang from Comores, Italian tangerine bark, neroli and Bulgarian rose opening, which announce the arrival of mid-notes of exciting silky gardenia extrait and jasmine. Base notes are bringing the accords of iris, ambergris, musk and Indian sandalwood. It is available as 50 ml (1.7 oz.fl.) EDP.

The first edition of this fragrance dates back to 1924. Already in 1925 this fragrance was awarded with a gold medal at the "Arts Decoratifs Exhibition." Isabey Gardenia was launched three years after Chanel N°5 (1921), and it was a contemporary to the renowned classics Guerlain-Guerlinade (1921), Dana-Toujuors Moi (1921), Chanel -Cuir de Russie (1924)...

That first 1924 edition was available in a mouth-blown pearl-bottle and in a handcrafted box. This was an exclusive edition of 1500 numbered bottles, and therefore such an original bottle is a rare and valuable piece for fragrance bottles collectors.

Today's reissued Isabey Gardenia in the luxurious golden bottle with a transparent top is available at the price of US $165 for 50 ml (1.7 oz.fl.) EDP.
