Massage is an ancient technique used with an aim to heal and deeply relax your bodily and spiritual condition. It is a real therapeutic ability, with a positive effect on entire organism and a preventive used to stay in good health.

5000 ago in Egypt, new massage techniques called 'Veduze' were developed and they are still used today. Besides this kind of massage, new scenes which depicture foot massage were found in pyramids in Egypt. Such a massage is connected with reflexology and it is still used, but originates from ancient China.

Among old techniques, Shiatsu massage is well know and it is a Japanese traditional medicine over 1500 years old. Apart from these ancient civilizations, massage is mentioned in ancient Greece, Rome and all the way to the Middle East. First written documents date back to the 18th century and their author is P. Henric Ling, a Swedish doctor after whom Swedish massage was named. There are several varieties of this massage nowadays.

Body and spirit are healed by touch, directly affecting the system of nerves and all nerve receptors. Massage diminishes the level of harmful hormones in organism, it speeds and improves bloodstream, diminishes bodily fats and skin gets a better tonus and looks much younger and healthier.

Massage affects first of all directly on your: skin, bloodstream, lymph system, respiratory system, skeleton system, system of muscles and system of nerves.

There are several sorts of massage today: Swedish massage – or the classic one, cosmetic massage, sports massage, manual lymph drainage, reflexology, Shiatsu method (acupressure), aromatherapy or aroma-massage and many others. Besides manual massage, there are different devices used as an addition to the basic treatment.

During massage, various etheric oils are used and they are never applied directly on the skin, but are mixed with base oils (olive, almond, yayoba or sunflower oil). These oils are fragrancy essences which reflex us through massage, but also affects our aura in a positive way.

There are massages with hot stones, water, modern, aromatic ones with chocolate, fruity, floral and other essences.

Following client's wishes, I will mention two perfume houses which have recently offered massage oils with the same fragrancy notes as their perfumes.

One of them is Jean Paul Gaultier 2 Massage Oil, a beautiful mixture of vanilla, amber and musk combined with notes of myrrh and incense, perfect for a sensual massage, which will leave a warm, soft and silky trace on your skin. This oil carries fragrancy notes of the perfume Gaultier 2 and is available in the amount of 100 ml.

Another massage oil was presented by the house of Agent Provocateur, which added opulent body oils to their offer, which includes erotic lingerie and perfumes. These massage oils encompass notes of rose, ylang-ylang or tuberose, a mixture of intensive aromas which will encourage your body and soul. These oils are available individually in the amount of 125 ml or as a trio of miniatures.

Massage can be used on a daily basis. If you cannot reach specialized salons or physiotherapist, there is always your partner, who can relax you and awake smile on your face with just a few drops of your favourite aroma oil and a gentle touch.
