The recently presented collection of fragrances by Mila Schon - Time Collection was inspired by fashion through decades of the last century. This collection connects art and creations by the house of Mila Schon, the history of which begins in 1958 in Milan.
Her fashion, creations and style are defined by a subtle game of contrasts and this is where her secret lies. Functionality of form and substance characteristic for the 50es of the 20th ct originate from turmoil of artistic expression to entrepreneurship activities in Milan. These were crucial years for Mila Schon's career since she started working during economic boom in Italy. She has always known what she wants since the beginning of the career: her fashion was actually a reflection of her personal choice and good taste – precise, with clear lines, simple and elegant.
She was born in 1916 as Maria Carmen Nutrizio in Trogir, Croatia, in a rich aristocratic family which moved to Italy when she was a girl.

Mila Schon's creations were linear and modern during the 60es. Being pragmatic and active, she got an idea to create double lace models, which were presented in 1965 and were very successful.
The 70es were the decade of revolution: optimism of the 50es accompanied by liveliness of the 60es moves to the 70es which introduce the unique hippy phenomenon and massive production. Mila Schon founded MS2 Ready to Wear Company and in 1973 she started distribution and sales of her creations in Japan. She also launched fashion line for men Mila Schon U.

The 80es brought a triumph of Italian fashion worldwide, as well as domination of quality, design, creativity and fabrics. It was in this decade that Mila Schon celebrated 25th anniversary of her work and her house, in Rome in 1983 in Villa Giulia. She presented her collection which combines all elements of styles which made her popular – diamond motive and colour palette ranging from grey, white, black, green, light red to pink.
The 90es were marked by Mile Schon's move from Rome to Paris. Mila had her first fashion show in Paris in 1992, and the second followed next year. In the meantime, she gave her company over to her Japanese partners, but continued to control her collections and to give her creative seal.

Bianca Gervasio became design director in 2000. 50 years after the house was founded, in 2008, beginnings of the house were revealed carefully and Mila's formula was used conscientiously – precise, clear, perfect and timelessly modern. Linearity, sobriety, taste in colour choice, geometry – creative signature of Mila Schon, timeless and never overpowered.
The fragrant collection introduced in 2009 is connected directly to history of the house and its creations. The fragrances are named after decades and their compositions are connected with a certain period of time. Glass flacons of the collection have the same design but different colours. Their front and back sides are transparent, while their sides are matt.
Time Collection `60 is coloured in violet and represents spirit of the 60es. Top notes open with magnolia, Calabrian bergamot, pear, melon and nectarine. An opulent, floral heart is composed of jasmine, tuberose, lily of the valley, freesia and orchid, while a base includes white musk, vanilla sticks, blackberry and cedar.

Time Collection `70 arrives in an orange flacon. Top notes are coloured with citruses – tangerine and Calabrian bergamot along with spicy pepper. A heart introduces fruity-floral nuances of lily of the valley, Turkish rose, jasmine and apricot, while a warm base hides white musk, Australian sandalwood, vanilla and patchouli.

Time Collection `80 starts with citrusy-fruity aromas of bergamot, tangerine, apple, peach and red currant. A heart encompasses Turkish rose, jasmine absolute, pink freesia and fresh accords, while a base is supported by a combination of white musk, Indonesian patchouli, amber and cedar. The flacon is coloured in green.
Time Collection `90 was presented in a dark purple, seductive flacon. Sea accords, Calabrian bergamot, tangerine and nutmeg can be found in the very top. A heart is intoxicating and fruity – a blend of melon, Sambac jasmine, white peach and peony, while the composition finishes with Lebanese cedar, white musk and amber.

The last fragrance of this artistic-fashionable-fragrant collection, `00, is coloured in snow-white which represents a new beginning and is connected directly with history of the house. The white flacon hides a fresh, feminine composition with top notes of Sambac jasmine and orange blossom. A heart is crowned with rose from Grasse and tonka, on a base of musk, Madagascar vanilla and precious wood.
Mila Schon Time Collection has been available since 2009 as 50 and 100 ml EDT. The collection was created in cooperation with Eurocosmesi.
