The charming and vivacious Neela Vermeire presented her trio of Indian-inspired scents at the January 2012 Elements Showcase. The perfumes of Neela Vermeire Creations pay tribute to important periods in Indian history, using the finest French perfumery techniques and the skills of master perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour.
AT ELEMENTS:

NEELA VERMEIRE CREATIONS:

TRAYEE
Trayee is a spicy oriental scent that represents the Vedic era and the spiritual foundation of India—its rituals, temples and the quest for enlightenment.
Trayee is a complex fragrance that represents the boundless spiritual landscape of the great Vedic period, which started many centuries ago: its intricate rituals and temple ceremonies, ayurveda, the universe of yoga and the holistic quest for knowledge.
MOHUR
Mohur is a rose-oud scent that captures the era of the Mughal dynasty, when beautiful Empress Noor Jahan was the power behind the throne and devoted herself to the art of perfumery.
To capture this moment, Mohur has been created as a refined rose-oudh alliance that pays tribute to noor Jahan’s power and talent.
BOMBAY BLING!
The dazzle of Bollywood and the bustling economy and nightlife of modern-day Mumbai (Bombay) inspired the third fragrance, the fruity-floriental Bombay Bling!
Fortunes are made and lost on the Bombay stock exchange and gambling dens of Mumbai. Abandon yourself to the nightlife as dawn breaks over the city. There is nothing like it and there will be nothing like it. Welcome to a vibrant new India!
Neela introduced her amazing perfumes to visitors by spritzing the fragrances on vivid orange handkerchiefs that match the company's orange logo and lettering, and contrast with the rich aubergine hue of the perfume boxes. Neela shares her story and her scents with us in this video:
Discovery set 10x3 ml is exclusively available on the website neelavermeire.com You can also purchase Neela Vermeire fragrances in the USA at luckyscent.com They were launched on the US market in January 2012 after the Elements showcase. Samples are also available.

I was spinning my wheels trying to find the discovery set in the US. Meanwhile, there was a big fat link to NVC staring me right in the face. Duh.
That's great news, Jeca!
Congratulations, Neela!
And hooray for the rest of us! :-)
Good news for the USA customers ;o) Neela Vermeire perfumes are now available at luckyscent (link to perfumery is in the article), samples are also available. A discovery set you can also purchase from NV website.
All three scents are amazing.
I wore Mohur yesterday and the sillage and longevity are amazing--12+ hours and I could still smell the last traces of its base notes.
Neela had some raw essences that were used in the scents at Elements, and it was interesting to smell the raw "cananbis" aroma, and then to find it so skillfully blended into Trayee. It's the best use of that note that I've come across so far.
I feel inspired by Mohur!
So good you could meet at such event!
Thank you ;o) My favorite is Bombay Bling! It has such controversal notes as black currant, tobacco, I feel dry hay in it ;o) It's a mix of smells of a big city. I really like it. It's not too oriental for me, but it definetely diserves your attention as a very interesting and unusual scent.
Excellent article. I have learnt something new. I would like to try the three of them.
Lovely bottles. Trayee sounds like something I would like to sample.
Those three bottles look great and luxurious.
