New Synthetic Fragrances by Escentric Molecules

Another perfume pair has recently been introduced by the house Escentric Molecules, which primarily creates perfumes in honour of synthetic materials, and these are Molecule 02 and Escentric 02.

Two previous fragrances: Molecule 01, created on the base of only one ingredient, Iso E Super (a very pleasant and a common, synthetic component of base notes) and Escentric 01, possessing a composition in which Iso E Super is united with scents of nature, became very popular thanks to the fragrance and its original idea.

Synthetic components have been a part of perfumes (very often 100%) for a very long time. But no producer allowed themselves such open sincerity and respect for human skill in the age when natural materials are fashionable, and this is definitely another advantage for Gezo Schoen, perfumeur and founder of Escentric Molecules.

The ingredient which inspired Gezo Schoen this time is a synthetic analogy of natural and very expensive grey amber – ambroxan. Ambroxan is the main component of fluids that whales produce under influence of salty sea water and sun, and it receives incredibly attractive fragrancy characteristics.
 

Molecule 02 is built solely on fragrance of this component. Escentric 02, apart from a large dose of this ingredient, includes also notes of vetiver and synthetic musk identical with the natural one – muskone and iris. The top notes contain refreshing extract of elder and hedione (sparkling and very popular substitute or addition to scent of jasmine), thanks to which this fragrance turned out to be very cheerful and light, with a pleasant base and extreme airness and constancy.

Molecule 02 or ambroxan is very pleasant, velvety, gentle and light, always present and unintrusive and creates a feeling of a very pleasant scent of one's own skin. You can read more on characteristics of ambroxan on website of thegoodscentcompany.

World premier of these two perfumes took place in April 2008 in London (Harvey Nichols).
