The floral fragrance with light and airy notes describes perfectly the successor of the famous fragrance by the house of Nina Ricci - L'Air du Temps from 1948.
After the first edition with beautiful small pigeons on the stopper standing as symbols of peace, numerous versions of the flacon have been presented up until today. Some of them attract attention with glamorous feathers and colours of rainbow, while others offer variations of the masterpiece L'Air du Temps which is famous even today as one of the classics of perfumery.
The new successor offers a more romantic and finer approach. It was announced as an airy and floral edition composed of intertwining notes of honeysuckle, jasmine, magnolia, violet extract and powdery notes.
The flacon was created in the spirit of the classic edition and is decorated with pink nuances. Its stopper features kissing pigeons. L'Air arrives on the market in April 2011 and will be available in the amount of 100 ml EDP – according to Marie Claire.

I can't wait to try this. My Mother wore L'Air du Temps and I loved it when I was a child. She's gone now and I have several of her perfume samples that I love to wear. I love smelling like my Mother smelled - it brings back very happy memories of her for me. She was not an old lady when she wore that perfume. This new version appeals to me for the type of scents that I like myself but I feel honored to wear any perfume my Mother wore.
sounds nice by the notes but i m always aware of everything what is related whit l air du temps because it reminds me old ladies stuff. let's say, my mother used this as only perfume since i can remember and she does still today. i don't dislike it on her but i would never want to smell like my mother does - this would be a synonyme for accepting to become older, such a no-go! haha xD no, but seriously - i'm intrigued about how do smell the new flankers of this timeless classique. but everytime i go to a perfumestore i'm such oversprayd with pefumes i want to test that i hadn't yet the occasion to test one of them on myself. on paper it was nothing to remember though. curious for this one coming out soon.
