The Brazilian brand O Boticario brings three new editions of Floratta fragrance in 2010, inspired by the precious stones of ruby, emerald and sapphire.
Floratta Ruby, packed in a red bottle, is dedicated to the Queen of Gems, and contains floral, fruity and oriental notes. It is extremely sensual, playful and seductive.
Top notes: chocolate orchid, lilac orchid, jasmine, red rose, lemon and bergamot. Heart: narcissus, mimosa, osmanthus, magnolia, ruby rose, freesia, gardenia, pink pepper and almonds. Base: sandalwood, cedar, musk and amber, vanilla and tonka bean. Available as 100 ml EDT.
Floratta Sapphire perfume is dedicated to the gemstone that symbolizes trust, ideal for strong women of character. Veronica Casanova and Sophie Labbe jointly created this floral - woody fragrant composition. The bottle is color of noble blue, which matches the color of the precious stone and notes such as iris and hyacinth.
Top notes: bergamot, cardamom, and lily of the valley. Heart: freesia, heliotrope, violet, blue hyacinth and iris. Base: vetiver, sandalwood, vanilla, tonka and musk. Available as 100 ml EDT.

Floratta Emerald is dedicated to the green gem of emerald; glamorous, sophisticated and luxurious like the precious stone itself.
This green floral composition created by the perfumer Hernán Edmundo Figo from Givaudan, is an ideal blend of richness, freshness, sparkle and femininity.
Top notes: tangerine, lime and green notes. Heart: orchid, freesia, jasmine and gardenia. Base: amber, musk, sandalwood and cedar. Available as 100 ml EDT. The nose behind this fragrance is Hernan Edmundo Figoli.
Ooh I want the Floratta Ruby! Sounds absolutely gorgeous - do hope I can get this in South Australia. Gold stars to Sanja for the great write ups on fragrances - always a pleasure to read them.
thank you so much Sanja for adding these little treasures!
bravo, very well written :D
i love boticario, it's one of my favorite houses..
and i must say that all the floratta line seems to have a better formula. more lasting, i mean.
they are affordable, and if you layer with a hand with no mercy, especially on clothes, it can last all day.
even without smelling this trio ( they havent arrived yet here in Portugal) i have no doubt that hich one of them seem to be quite interesting.
if anyone visits Brazil or even Portugal, please do not leave the country without giving a chance to this marvelous boutique ;)
Brazilian Brand.
It's not EDT.
All Floratta's line is availabre just in Deo-colonia version.
Here, 100ml is priced at R$69,00... something around U$ 41.00.
This line makes a tremendous success here in Brazil.
All 3 of these sound rich and beautiful! I wonder when and where they can be sniffed :)
Thank you, Sanja, for the beautiful photos and text- the bottles are exquisitely lovely, and the fragrances sound wonderful, too!
