Olfactive Man

No matter how long you have been searching for your own perfume, you can be sure that the perfume will find you. Just like the hopeless and long-lasting search for the perfect man, you realize that you can miss the right perfume as well until small things and sparks appear. Something makes you tick and mark your long days and moments. When you glow and feel that it is "the real thing. . . ."

Comparing a fragrance with a man does not seem serious. On the one hand, I agree, but…

Fragrance is the thing that caresses your skin just like a man; it stimulates your feelings and improves your mood. It lingers on your skin just long enough to make you wish to feel it again on your body and around you. Uncatchable and seductive just like the one you are constantly glancing at in a nearby coffee shop: the sweet, juicy and well groomed ‘tom cat’ from the 7th floor…

A fragrance can also bother you, get on your nerves, be suffocating, just like some boring and pushy guy heading towards you. In a nutshell, fragrance is just like some man!

If we are about to make unusual divisions, for which no one will take me seriously, I believe then I will play and divide fragrances into:


Casual: Sweet and tasty like a summer romance with a man you will probably never see again.

Aquatic: Refreshing, clean and sporty like the hottest guy at the beach perking interest with his body and his sports achievements.

Aromatic: Cypress alleys and a bowl full of ripe lemons, a philosopher on vacation, under a beach umbrella with an interesting book in his hand, with a small twist and a curious look over his sunglasses… staring at you, of course!

Woody: A forester? No, no, no, far from that! A stable and mature man who is enjoying a cold aperitif by the sea, in the deep shade of a woody coffee shop under palm trees while he waits for you. Is he waiting or is he too deep in his thoughts? I will leave it for you to tell.

Oriental: Mmmm, a temperamental, seductive man with a fiery look and a gleam in his eyes from whom you cannot escape. Aromas of balms, oils and spices seduce almost like his movements. A man to take home!

Gourmand fragrances: No cabbage rolls and beans, please! Coconut, almonds and warm chocolate! Yummy!

And at the end, it is the most difficult to choose the one who is good just for you. I'm telling you, it is really the hardest thing. He has to please the whole olfactive scale of your small pleasures, and that can be quite a long list!

For those who are still searching for the best one, just a small reminder: until you find "Mr. Right" (and I wonder how long even he will keep your attention and caress your cleavage, wrists and your other favourite body parts), explore and change, try and play! Do not expect that only one will fulfill all your dreams and bring you the pleasure you are waiting for.
 

(Perfume, I mean! I hope you did not get me wrong!)
