Fragrance Reviews Organza - Symbol of Eternal Femininity

Organza - Symbol of Eternal Femininity

07/30/08 07:27:51

Organza Givenchy, a beautiful fragrance, was created by Sophie Labbe in 1996, while its gorgeous bottle was designed by Serge Mansau.

The slogan of this fragrance is "Quelque Chose en Moi D'Eternel" or "The Eternal Part of Me". Who wants to hear the correct pronunciation of the name of the perfume and the designer in French, they can use this resource: acapela-group.com (turn the volume on).

Organza is a thin and see-through fabrics, which used to be made of synthetic fibers, polyester or nylon. Real, silk organza is still made in, for example, France, Italy or India. Luxurious and feminine organza is out of time and is utterly elegant. This is the reason why it is used by haute couture artists.

As for etymology of the word 'Organza', we found several possible choices: according to some data, it derives from a town on the south of Uzbekistan Organza (Urganch), while some other sources name the American trade company Lorganza as the source..

Organza is a warm, floral fragrance, which is beautiful and exciting from the first, intensive notes to the velvety trail which fondles you like silk. And not just you...
White flowers (honeysuckle, gardenia, tuberose, jasmine, peony) and vanilla give an effect of comfortable warmth, sweet like plaster. Spices (nutmeg in the top and base notes, as well as Guaiac tree) tingle and make nice contrast to flowers.

Organza attracts attention with its contrasts, it is gentle and demanding with its harmony of scents of a woman who turns heads around her, since this unusual fragrance starts an exciting game which kindles your imagination and carries a promise to be smelt from her arm, neck, pillow...

The perfume is locked inside an unusual, beautiful bottle, which follows curves of feminine body and also reminds of Greek pillar –feminine, fragile and eternal.

The composition opens with fresh, green accords and bergamot, orange blossom, feminine gardenia with a spicy accord of nutmeg. Passionate accords of white flowers: honeysuckle, tuberose and jasmine, together with ylang-ylang, iris and peony kindle and fondle. Oriental woody and spicy base is softened by flowers, which introduce dreamy, sensual warmth. The base encompasses vanilla, amber, cedar, Guaiac, sandalwood, nutmeg.

Pakistani beauty Yasmeen Ghauri is the face of the commercial.

Organza has had several limited versions so far. (Organza First Light 2004, Organza Fleur d'Oranger de Nabeul 2006, Organza Indecence 1999, Organza Indian Jasmin 2005, Givenchy Harvest 2007 Organza Jasmine)

One of the newest is the festive edition in a beautiful box with a bracelet (the fragrance remained the same).

There's something so serious and formal about Organza, but really sensual as well. I think Jeca really nailed it with this article ("sweet like plaster" is spot on). And Yasmeen Ghauri is GORGEOUS!

It's really great to know that the woman from my country is the face of the commercial of Organza. I haven't got the chance to buy it and wish to buy it soon.
