After the debut Queen from 2009, this year Queen Latifah presents her new fragrance named Queen of Hearts, made in collaboration with the Parlux Fragrances company. Queen of Hearts is a sophisticated and elegant fragrance of warm and feminine notes, romantic and perfect for fall season. It tells you that true beauty really comes from the heart of a woman, from her inner strength.

“The heart has a song all its own. This new fragrance sings out the message that beauty comes from the heart of a woman. Indeed, this fragrance too conveys my belief that beauty is a state of love, an expression of a woman’s confidence and sensuality. Queen of Hearts captures the allure of a woman’s body, her mind and her inner strength.” says Queen Latifah about the perfume.

Top notes of the Queen of Hearts perfectly balance warmth and strength with its aromas of bergamot, dewy greens, spicy cinnamon and sensual purple plum. Romantic, elegant and intriguing notes of the heart represent the woman's inner beauty with Egyptian jasmine, red fruits and a bouquet of white flowers. Sensuality that lingers on skin comes in the form of warm amber aroma, musk, patchouli, vanilla, olibanum and smoky incense.

Top notes: Mediterranean citrus, bergamot, green notes, cinnamon, plum

Heart: Egyptian jasmine, red fruits, white flowers

Base: amber, patchouli, musk, vanilla, olibanum, incense

The Queen is dressed in sophisticated color of gold and azure blue this time. Queen of Hearts comes in a golden bottle engraved with a heart in the middle and golden box with a blue outline. The nose of the compositions is Steve de Mercado.

It is available as 100 ml EDP.

Perfumedsecrets

I liked how different her first perfume was from the long list of other celebrity perfumes. I saw this the other day on a table, but there was sadly no tester bottle for it. Hopefully a magazine sample will be in an issue soon. I'm told this has the same spicy floral composition, but is lighter than her first.

Sounds like the original, but more lighter and more floral. Her first was all right, but needed to amplify the incense trail a little more. Let's see what happens with this one.

Queen Latifah is my girl. I love everything she does. I can't wait to smell this new fragrance "Queen of Hearts" I just really loved her first fragrance "Queen".

LOVED her first one, so I have high hopes for this one. Although I often hesitate to buy "celebrity" perfumes, I was happy to buy Latifah's. She is no ordinary celebrity - lots of talent and a beautiful woman who is not a little tiny thing!

I LOVE this woman! She is talented, funny, intelligent, feminine and gorgeous. She knows how to carry herself, a true goddess of our modern times... I have seen many of her movies. I have not tried any of her fragrances yet but, if they are as lovely as she it, that'll be good enough for me.

OMG! Queen Latifah is launching another fragrance. I fell in love with her first one and I can't wait to try this one. Cinnamon, Plums, Jasmine, Musk and Incense are some of my favorite perfume components. I'm so looking forward to trying this and definitely adding it to my wish list.

If Latifah likes it, it will be good enough for me. What a woman! The notes are all good and some different ones in there to the Jasmine/Rose variety that we are seeing a lot of! Will definitely be trying this one out - would have fantastic sillage and warmth with the amber, musk, patchouli, vanilla and smoky incense. Do hope it is available in Australia!
