Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely Collection: Dawn, Endless, Twilight – Precious Scent of Moment

Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely Collection: Dawn, Endless, Twilight – Precious Scent of Moment

10/31/08 12:56:27

As a sequence to perfume Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker, Lovely Collection will be presented in February 2009. That is a line of three perfumes named Dawn, Endless and Twilight, envisaged as a popular Sarah's private fragrant collection, dedicated to a special moment, a fragrant moment in time.

Dawn is a fresh and clean fragrance inspired by morning, sunrise and first sunrays. That is a moment when we stop to listen to awakening of nature and look forward to upcoming day. The fragrance was created in cooperation with perfumer Stephen Nilsen of Givaudan, who enriched top notes with a cocktail of citrus aromas with angelica and violet leaves. A heart is composed of orchid, and a drydown of Tahitian vanilla, orris, oakmoss, vetiver and musk.

Endless is a floral-fruity fragrance, which embodies a captured moment of pure joy of life. The fragrance was created by perfumer Yann Vasnier of Givaudan, who enriched top notes with a blend of pineapple, apple, ivy leaves and plum. Heart blooms with peony, pink jasmine and magnolia. A base introduces oakmoss, Indonesian patchouli, Australian sandalwood, vetiver and suede musk.

Twilight is a sexy, musk fragrance which reminds of sweet moments of intimacy and closeness. The perfume was created by Laurent Le Guernec and Clement Gavarry of IFF, and composed of bergamot, galbanum, mandarin and pink pepper in top. Heart pulsates in a rhythm of peony and jasmine, while base incorporates amber, sandalwood, incense and musk.

Flacon collection is created in the same form, with floral pattern in various colours. Design of flacons and outer cartons was made by Sarah Jessica Parker with Jon Dinapoli, using art work by fashion illustrator Sara Singh.

The perfumes will be available in amount of 30 and 75 ml EDP with 200 ml perfumed body lotion.

Michael Thompson was in charge of advertising campaign, which will appear in a fashion magazine in March 2009. Photos of Sarah were taken at dawn, at noon and at twilight, recording emotional and intimate moments, special moments of her life, from early morning till late evening.

TV clip will be made in a similar way as posters, as a kaleidoscope of precious moments, announced for February 2009.

I tried these perfumes and they smell like cheap perfumes in health and beauty stores in Germany. Yikes ! No wonder the saleswoman was smiling as I tried it on.... it smells like any teenage perfume in cheap stores in Europe, no wonder it is such a flop there. It is a cheap imitation.

Will never recommend them. Go for the French perfumes.

So far I've been happily surprised at how well-developed SJP's fragrances are, and these three look like possible winners too. I want to sample all three, but my guess is I'll be most attracted to "Twilight".
