The Eternal Children – Pupa

The Pupa company was established 30 years ago in Milan, Italy, and since the first day its aim was to offer innovative high quality product and with recognizable designs and colors. The main color and trademark of Pupa is red, the symbol of passion and vitality.

Today the company has evolved in a really colorful world of good quality, imaginative and playful, with recognizable design of make up sets and make up in general. Then there are baths which smell so adorable, body care products, sun screens, and fragrances.

In Pupa they say: 'Quality is a simple concept, based on the product design, color, scent, texture, package and presentation.'

Pupa has the cutest make up sets. Besides the exceptional quality, their design catches the eyes in almost every shop window where they are displayed. Sets in shapes of the Earth, pyramid, the Sun, the Moon, gorgeous Pupa bigger and smaller sized Russian babushkas, red heart, red flowers in big, medium and small boxes, ghosts, Pupa puppets, great smaller sets called Non Conventional Zoo with soft giraffes, zebras, bunnies, kittens...

Unique and very much fun windmill, peg-top, sets in shapes of candies and ice creams, are so attractive and merry that will gladden the one that are presented to. There are also mini Zoo-sets, eye shadow and gloss in a small container which can easily be carried in a purse. Perhaps someone will remember also the old editions of small sets in shapes of little angel and little red devil with lip gloss and eye shadow inside.

Pupa Makeup wise, Pupa collection includes all necessary, started with foundation, lipsticks, lip-gloss, rouge, mascara, eye shadows...and all of those come in practical and luxurious packs. I would like to mention especially Pupa eye shadows which can be found in various colors. Those are Polvere di Luce Duo, powdery eye shadows with crystals and satin effect.

Another well known eye shadows collection is Luminys which can be used both dry and wet. If you put the shadow dry it will give a luminous effect, while the wet applied leaves more intensive and accentuated trace.

As very nice and cute body care collections should be mentioned Miss Milkie with a cow, and Polly's Beautie Farm with a hen on the package.

Beside the immaculate quality, their fragrances are simply irresistible, especially cotton candy, vanilla, white chocolate, strawberry and cream...Miss Milkie collection includes fragrances, fragrant waters, with the same fragrant notes as the body lotions and butter. Regrettably, those are available only in Italy.

Pupa thinks of children as well and therefore it is possible to find shampoos, baths, crèmes and lotions for kids.

A part of the Polly's Beautie Farm collection contains honey. The collection with honey extract includes baths, creamy baths, shower gels and sugar peeling. There are also after bath creams, hand creams, body balsams and lip balms. These products come as combinations of orange and honey extract, jasmine and honey extract, vanilla and honey extract.

And as the icing on the cake, Pupa for a number of years presents their fragrances too. Beside the scent, Pupa pays a lot of attention to bottle and package designs. Their fragrances come in merry colorful glass flowers (PupArt Flower), Tulips (Bouquets de Parfums), lotus flowers, angels...
The newest fragrances launched in 2007 are Puposhka and Yes Gold.

Puposhka is floral fruity fragrance captured in a traditional Russian doll (Matrjoshka). The notes include orange, mandarin, melon leaves, litchi, luminous lemon, sparkly grapefruit and black currant in the top notes. The heart brings magnolia, rose petals, and freesia, while the base combines sandalwood, vanilla, chocolate, cedar, musk and amber.

Yes Gold is a chypre-fruity fragrance which comes in a transparent bottle with gold-colored accents and a chain.

Pupa Yes Gold It was designed by Jean Charles Niel and unites the watermelon juice, raspberry and Sicilian orange in the top, rose, Indian jasmine and lily of the valley in the heart, and patchouli, vanilla and caramel in the base. The bottle was designed by Pupa Design Team.
