The Ways of The Wool by Acqua di Biella

An Italian niche perfume brand Acqua di Biella has introduced a new line of fragrances and bath&body products of highest quality Le Vie della Lana (The Ways of The Wool). The new line is inspired by wool and the love story between Maria Rivetti, from one of the greatest wool dynasties of the nineteenth century, and Guido Cantono, heir to the Reale Manifattura Acqua di Biella.

Chiara Cantono, the fourth generation, learned her grandfather’s experience and launched a new range of products Le Vie della Lana, based on the old recipes of the Reale Manifattura and the modern scientific and dermatological research.

The fragrance line will include several fragrances for women and men, that will be followed every one or two years. The first perfume, Cashmere Twill, has been already launched and will be appear on the market this spring. Maurizio Cerrizza is the nose behind the unisex composition of Cashmere Twill.

A note of wool essence combined with green aromatic accord of raspberry leaves and cheerful citruses (Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian lemon) begin the composition. Water iris, a tender touch of magnolia from Eastern Asia, cardamom from Ceylon and Yunnan anis are in the heart. The warm base notes are composed of cedar of Lebanon, vetiver, white moss and ambretta seeds.

The Eau de Parfum is bottled both in a limited edition crystal flacon and a regular Acqua di Biella bottle of 125ml. The rest of product are in bottles of 250ml.
Le Vie della Lana includes bath foam, body losion, bath and after-bath oil and bath salts.
