Tom Ford's debute fragrance for men

Tom Ford continues his fast expansion the on perfume market with three new fragrances: Tom Ford for Men (his first men's perfume), Tom Ford for Men Extreme (a limited edition coming this fall) and Black Orchid Voile de Fleur (a lighter version of Black Orchid with added white flowers). More over in the spring of 2008. a new yet unnamed women's fragrance will be presented.
The Tom Ford brand has launched 13 fragrances this year (2006) : Black Orchid (prvi miris) and his Private Blend of 12 perfumes.
His first men's fragrance is created on the base of a rare perfume ingredient Cypriol, that is a plant from India (relative to papyrus, its root is distilled. Cypriot oil is used in perfume base notes for a foresty and musky note. It's said that a man applying it to his forehead is assured of a long series of successful love affairs).

Tom Ford for Men is announced as warm and sensual. Cypriol brings its "slightly dirty, sensual, sexy smell". So, the perfume is to be as sexy as everything that Tom Ford make.
The juice opens with hesperdic notes of lemon leaf, mandarin and bergamot combained with light aromatic basil, violet leaves and ginger. The heart blend Tunisian orange flower absolute, black pepper, tobacco leaf absolute and Moroccan grapefruit flower. The oriental drydown notes are of deep amber, cedar, Virginia patchouli, vetiver, oakmoss, leather accord and cypriol. It is available in the luxurious bottles of 50 and 100ml.
