Van Cleef & Arpels Oriens

Van Cleef & Arpels in cooperation with perfumer Bernard Ellena are presenting their new fragrance Oriens. Its composition is constructed as chypre-floral. Flacon created for Oriens was inspired by a tourmaline ring from the brand’s collection presented several years ago. Creator of the flacon is Joel Desgippes.

Fragrant saga Oriens opens with fruity notes of mandarin, black currant and raspberry. A heart blossoms with beautiful jasmine petals, while a base features accentuated patchouli supported with sweet gourmand aromas of praline.

The flacon is made of heavy glass, decorated with a stopper inspired by Van Cleef & Arpels tourmaline ring and it is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml EDP, along with 150 ml body milk. The collection can be expected on the market in March 2010. Advertising campaign was led by Co. and Co. Photos of the campaign capture sunset in orange-yellow nuances somewhere in the Far East. (WWD)
