Yves Saint Laurent Parisienne

By: Sandra Raičević-Petrović

Perfumers: Sophia Grojsman, Sophie Labbe.
Commercial face: Kate Moss.
Edition: Yves Saint Laurent 2009.

The new fragrance from YSL appears on the market in 2009, romantically named Parisienne, which implicates its Paris fragrance predecessors, as well as its edited bottle design. Besides the official notes of Damask rose, violet, peony, cranberry, patchouli, vetiver, musk and sandalwood, it also contains urban and bold aromas of vinyl and lacquer, reminding us of the specific scent of a cosmetic bag, make – up and high-heels on the hot city asphalt. But Kate Moss? Why?
Not the first name or face I associate with 'Parisienne'. ugh.

I would love to try that, the cute bottle looks desireable :)
The notes-although slightly safe-seem to have an edge.

If its a romantic modern upgrade of paris then it could be wonderful! I look forward to trying it! The bottle is pretty also and the notes sound interesting! Can't wait!

I love the name, sometimes you think that with so many perfumes coming out constantly, there would not be too many names but sometimes I get surprised.

Vinyl and lacquer? That made me curious! I will be looking for that one. I also like the ad.
