The fragrance “Gin&Tonic” comes from the famous and popular cocktail with the same name. The perfume composition consists of tonic’s sweet, slightly bitter quinine taste and gin’s juniper that gives foresty scent, with necessary additional flavorings of citrus and spices (for example most popular gin for this cocktail - Bombay Sapphire has made its reputation on its use of 10 botanicals, from lemon peel to cubeb berries, a Javanese pepper). So all together it reveals a slightly intoxicating, strong and sweet, crisp and zesty, musky at the end note, fragrance. Gin&Tonic was used by Demeter Fragrance Library for its new “Happy our collection”. Every perfume is dedicated to one of the famous and favorite cocktails and has a recipe to make it. As Demeter Fragrance Library mentions “the Gin & Tonic we celebrate in our Demeter fragrance is born-necessary and essential refreshment from heat, tropical or otherwise”.
