Fleur du Mâle (for men)
Designer: Jean Paul Gaultier Olfactive Group: Aromatic FougereTwelve years after the Gaultier's last fragrance for men, a new masculine perfume of Jean Paul Gaultier is launched - Fleur du Mâle. There is a pun in the name – fleur du mâle is a male flower of a dioecious plant, but also, the name alludes to poems of French poet Charles Baudelaire (1821 - 1867) and his Les Fleurs du Mal (The Flowers of Sin). The perfume was created by Francis Kurkdjian in 2007. The floral composition is built with orange blossom in its heart with petitgrain leaf, coumarin and fern. The bottle has the same contour, a torso shaped one, like the one of Le Male, only this one is pure white, set in a white box. The face of the perfume is model Andres Velencoso, also known from the Chanel's male Allure commercial. Fleur du Mâle is a new fragrance and it was introduced in 2007.

it is a trick that they used the same torso shaped bottle as Le Male. this is so synthetic and nauseating, nothing like Le Male, not a brother of it for sure. i do not consider the 10+ hours lasting power as an advantage because it is a 10+ hours of torture with sickening rotten chamomile. not recommended to any age and for any occasion.

One of my favourite fragrances!
It's so unusual and masculine at the same time. It's not for every male, for sure, but for those lucky enough to be daring, the rewards of this perfume are multiple.

Am wondering if this can double as a unisex? Do any ladies out there wear it?

Sweet and strong but in the same time gentle and soft. J.P Gaultier style. I like it. TOO much is TOO MUCH !!

I have to admit that I sometimes use this scent myself because of the gorgeous pure floral (orange blossom) notes that you can't find anywhere else. I would consider it a unisex fragrance.
the blossoms are very feminine but combined with the distinctive Le Mâle scent.
By the way,the feminine touch matches its creator, doesn't it? ;-)

It's true that this one it's like a girl scent but I like it for young man and even for me.

Had the chance to test this one out. Stay away! Disgustingly flowery with no redeeming notes. This scent overpowers anything in the room. The type of thing that reminds you of gossipy high-school girls with too much makeup and not enough braincells.
