A is for ALDO Blue ALDO for women

This is the only one of the three current Aldo women's fragrances that I like. Surprisingly, it smells exactly like Bath and Body Works Brown Sugar & Fig...and since I enjoy that fragrance, this one is also a winner for me. I've only ever had the body mist of Brown Sugar & Fig, so Aldo Blue might be a good alternative given that the eau de toilette of the former is discontinued. The lasting power of Aldo Blue is decent for an EDT, although it could be better.

The Aldo website lists cocoa as a base note rather than coconut. Strangely enough though, I smell coconut. I don't smell any citrus in this at all. It starts off with a sweet floral feel, but quickly develops into a musky-creamy oriental fragrance. I get the tonka, amber, musk and coconut most strongly. And, despite it not being listed, I get the same fleshy but slightly green aroma of fig that I get in BBW Brown Sugar & Fig. Similarly, this is milky, creamy, musky, and just lovely. Very cozy and warm.

at first I thought this smelled like a light version of Obsession, but no, this is sooooo much better! Yum - soft, slight spicy, musky - and spicy usually does not work well on my skin, but I LOVE THIS!!!! and plan on getting more soon - started with the rollerball version.
