Hibiscus by Acca Kappa is a Floral fragrance for women. Hibiscus was launched in 2004. The fragrance features hibiscus, magnolia, amber, heliotrope and bergamot.
This one is quite pleasant floral scent. Yes, it's a little aquatic and a little bitter. Good for any kind of daywear. This scent has an individuality.
This borders on being an aquatic floral to my nose - there is something in it that has that "marine" edge to it (from heliotrope and/or bergamot?) Either way, it's nice - as someone who regularly drinks hibiscus tea & had hibiscus plants in my yard in Florida, it's true to the flower, which is nice. Somehow, it has the fresh green tang of the crushed petals. The magnolia is in the background for me, just gives a little more richness to the hibiscus. There is a similarity to B & B Works Magnolia Blossom (similar notes) which is why I risked buying it unsniffed, but this is much less floral-sweet. There's a good warmth to the base, but I don't recognize it as amber until a couple of hours into wear. Overall, a fresh, pleasant, well-balanced daytime fragrance, good for warmer weather or vacation.
