Parfums Barthet presents FUCHSIA, the second fragrance from the Barthet House embodied by Alexandre Barthet, a one-of-a-kind fashion designer! The son of Jean Barthet, the illustrious Parisian designer of the most famous hats worn by stars and royalty (including Julia Roberts, Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, Catherine Deneuve, Michael Jackson and Princess Caroline of Monaco), Alexandre inherited from his father the excellence of outstanding artisanal know-how and a passion for unique, imaginative and consistently elegant creations.

Largely inspired by the seductive party scene, with extreme sophistication Alexandre reinvents embroidery and lace for mini-dresses as weightless as dreams, and sequins and rhinestones for lamé jeans and inlaid boleros. He tears muslin into strips, reveals thighs and dares extravagance with diamond-interlaced mink hats. The Alexandre Barthet woman is a contemporary woman who tastefully and audaciously combines vintage with modern. To this youthful, feminine, sensual, glamorous, sparkling, charming and chic woman, Alexandre dedicates FUCHSIA, his new fragrance.

A bottle for boudoirs in absolute pink, pale pink and, of course, fuchsia, Alexandre Barthet’s favorite color, the one he considers to be the most feminine of all. FUCHSIA is a decorative object to be displayed in a private, precious sitting room. A bottle that has escaped from a nostalgic dream filled with moments of exhilaration and sweet madness. It is modern and feminine with its smooth, round silhouette and heart- shaped translucent fuchsia cap that sits atop the bottle, symbolizing Alexandre’s passionate declaration of love to all women.

Vintage and couture, it features an adornment of pink feathers – a playful little tuft delicately fastened around the bottle's neck in knowing reference to the secret moments that women spend with themselves when accessorizing their outfits. FUCHSIA, a bottle that bears witness to Alexandre Barthet's art and talent for playing with modern and vintage style codes in festive, baroque opulence – so couture!

FUCHSIA pink, naturally, the box’s center displays the emblem of Parfums Barthet – a heart – whose outline merges with the BARTHET signature in embossed fusion. The signature reflects an artsy, contemporary spirit with colorful letters in the most dazzling shades of fuchsia pink, violet and green – letters that dance in a joyful, vibrant layout.

Sophisticated and luminous, the fragrance evokes the dream-like creatures adorned with feathers, rhinestones and sequins so dear to Alexandre Barthet. It is a true homage to mischievous femininity, sparkling and seductive, playful and sensual, always elegant and charming… inspired by the beautiful fuchsia flower!

The top notes of the eau de toilette open with the cheerful, tangy freshness of bergamot tinged with blackcurrant that blossoms in the velvety petals of gardenia. The middles notes blaze with voluptuous rose, pounding like a heartbeat, whose sensuality blends with the captivating aromas of the bell-shaped fuchsia flower and the sunny scents of orange blossom, developing the charms of their seduction. In the base notes, iris vibrations intermingle with sandal wood, diffusing a glamorous, enveloping and terribly sexy sensuality. Heliotrope melts into vanilla, and both exhale honey-sweet vapors that create an unsettling, irresistible trail.
