The LONDON perfume from DUNHILL the smell gone very quick?

Sweet syrupy sugary opening,very little minty hintin the middle,and something in it what wraps my nose around it-may be pachuli?,then geranium.Discrete;some 8 years ago Oriflame had cologne de'Marco-before reformulation-in my scent memories it seems very similar-Dunhill London is just more refined and close to skin.Bought for my beloved for every day use.

It's sweet sweet & sweet smells like a birthday cake very suitable for use at the Dating time, but I don't know why I smelled Mint Notes in this fragrance

give me a headache. very sweet smell

It has a classically modern, bitterly sweet, simply casual yet refined body to it that I know I've smelt somewhere in my testing journeys but I can't remember where. Does it smell like a CK or some other creation by any popular brands? I can't put my finger on it.

Sticky sweet tonka and vanilla combo with something trying to soften it. Patchouli in there too.

This perfume was one of my blind buy list!
I bought it in a big perfume shop that was filled with scents without any air refresher or fan; so I chose it and I preferred it between this and Zegna Z . Then when I went back to home I realized that it wasn't something that I like. So, I gave it away to my cousin.
I just remember that it was smoky, sugary, spicy, sticky, waxy, warm, hot and fruity. Its longevity was good because I couldn't wash it away from my wrist and it was making me crazy! And also its spreading power was marvelous cause it was annoying me from my wrist till I reached home!
Anyway, it's something that you may like if you like perfumes with considerable spreading and lasting power! It's something official and chic, can be ceremonial but not for aged people, for example under 35. It's not casual, no way, and you may wear in both outdoor and indoor, no problem. Proper for autumn and spring and maybe winter but don't be stupid like me, don't wear it at summer!!!
At opening, musk, red apple, jasmine and vanilla are bold till the end. It ends nostalgic!
It's good but not my style.
Hah, if you wear it after bath its longevity decreases, and I don't know why!
Anyway I grade 8/10 for longevity and 9/10 for sillage but according to my style 4/10 for the scent.
Sorry guys! But that's just my case.
...and it's not something special, it's ordinary specially among Dunhil's stuff.

I just tested it at a perfume store, I think it smell fresh and a little too sweet... But I like it, it will be on my next purchase list

DUNHILL LONDON is a Modern Fragrance with a Promising Opening and a Disappoint Ending for me!It is a Romantic scent with a Masculine Touch. Interesting,Sweet,Charming,Exciting and Cute For Ladies.

The opening delights with the fresh notes that is quite Lovely,Gradually Appears a Seductive scent by Rose and Jasmine that is almost Little Feminine but Unfortunately I dont find The Dry Down on my skin!

In fact This DUNHILL EDT was a Spectacular fragrance if the Longevity could be better.This Aromatic scent dedicated to a Mature and Glamorous Character for Interview and Intimate use. Suitable for SPRING/AUTUMN Seasons too.

Sillage?Good.

Longevity?It is not Salubrious on My skin and not Good Considering the price.

Sensual, sweet. You can't really go wrong with this one. Staying power is average. 7 out of 10

This is a beautiful fragrance for men! I bought this for my former partner after I was unable to find his previous signature (Dunhill Xccentric) and I am so glad I did. This was refreshing and attractive and I loved it on him (secretly still do... ouch!). Anyway, this scent on a man is deeply alluring, its fresh, the apple is sparkling and is has a beautiful sour but incredibly soft lemon drydown that is incredibly attractive. A gentle but masculine heart, I think geranium should be in all mens frags. And this one is awesome!

When the scent has dryed down it smells exacly like a whole parade of parfumes, on me,. for example: viktor&rolf antidot, Burberry brit and gucci by gucci. Something powdery and old lady like, i hate it. i prefer allure sport, givenchy play, ck free, lacoste red play, hermes orange type of smell.

But this powdery crap, i cant stand it.

I use dunhill london everyday, top is fresh, no obtrusive apple-citron...heart is tender, sweet - rose with very soft spicy kardamon and soft sour lemon basis......base is sweet vanilla and musk, woody basis.....heart+base is together very nice, creame, rich, oriental, nevertheless airy.

once i had a friend who smelled so great, and i went asking what was it.it was dunhill london. recently my hubby asked me what fragrance he should buy for a formal occasion since all he had were casual ones. i urged him to buy this.

at the first spray, no one likes it LOL.10-15 later, we all LOVE it! it's classy and i have to agree with lolita82. ladies, beware!! ^0^

I've never tried this scent for my brother because i gave to him Dunhill Fresh but reminds me to Fahrenheit..., i think this is better, more up-to-date.

Slightly disbalanced, scent not "solid", like a mix.

really nice fragance, great sillage and the aura is simply cute, very floral-semi spicy vibe with a fruity versatile base..

my new fav.

very nice and expensive smell i think after a year it will be the perfume no.1 for all guys :)
