Always is a fragrance by the house of Alfred Sung introduced in 2009. The perfume was created in cooperation with perfumer Clement Gavarry, who used such aromas as water lily, cumquat and neroli in top notes. A heart encompasses pink peony, honeysuckle and orris root, while a base comprises sandalwood, patchouli and ambrette seed. Always is available as 50 and 100ml (1,7 and 3,4 oz) edp, along with 200 ml (6,8 oz) body lotion.

When I think of Alfred Sung, I think of non-offensive, office-friendly, classic clothing and fragrances. This fragrance fits the bill. This is another fresh cool floral with a mildly citrus suggestion. There is a tiny bit of sandalwood in the drydown which I wish would come out more but it's overwhelmed by the strong floral notes.
It's okay a Marshall's special here. Realized this smells like J.L. Glow and breathless too me.
I am in love with Alfred Sung's Always (but yeah, I hate the name too). Fresh, sweet, floral, and classy like most of the products from the house of Sung--this is a fragrance for the mature lady. The sweetness of always isn't candy sweet nor is it a vanilla bomb as so many are right now. Always strikes the perfect balance between delicate femininity and strength. I think the neroli was very well done in this fragrance and the kumquat helps lend a little effervescence as well.
The sillage and longevity are awesome, lasting well over 8 hours on me after a couple of sprays. Many compliments on this one. The scent is appropriate for the office, evenings, and special occasions. Rating 9 out of 10.
I kept seeing this in TJ Maxx for $20 (3.4 fl. oz), but didn't get it since I didn't want to buy it unsniffed. Luckily, Marshall's had the body lotion, so I was finally able to get a sniff. Always is everything I wanted Banana Republic W to be and wasn't. I'm definitely a happy woman!
The pure white and clear bottle is deceiving, this fragrance is quite strong with aquatic water lily and well tamed white flowers. There is plenty of sweet watery orange fruit too; keeping the flowers under control. Peony is shy here, and I don't think I get a patchouli either. It's not as subtle as it appears. It has quite a bit of sillage and projection power. There are many of this fragrance at TJ Maxx now for a really good price (as of 04/18/11). Go check it out!
This was given to me as a birthday gift. I tried it and fell in love with it! Love the base notes as I love patchouli, amber and sandalwood. So yes I enjoy the fragrance. It is so me!
Hahahaha Avon has a perfume called always...and i think nobody would think of feminine protection just because of that name!!!! I love Alfred Sung fragances, i ALWAYS will do it.
I was at my favorite drugstore when I decided to try this new perfume from Alfred Sung.
How could they call it Always? Alfred Sung is a Canadian designer, they should know that Always is also a very popular brandname for feminine protection (pads) here in Canada.
Oh Lord! Please forgive them !
Well, I don't know what kumquat tastes like, but it definitely smells wonderful! I am sure it is the reason behind that fresh, sharp and citrus note at the opening. Always is not complicated, light, clean and long lasting. I really enjoy it.
Good for day or evenings, casual or a date. Totally versatile. The more it grows on your skin, the more sweet and floral it smells. Now that's my kind of fragrance :)
I would absolutely consider buying this perfume, just don't know if I will ever get use to the name:)
