Paradise (for women)

Designer: Alfred Sung Olfactive Group: Floral Green

Paradise for women came in 2003. It was composed by David Apel who created a real exotic explosion in the top notes. Tropical fruits passionately dance with mouthwatering peach in the top, which lead to the floral heart composed of jasmine, gardenia, rose… the base caresses with orchid vanilla, sandal wood and cashmere musk. It comes as 30ml perfume extrait, 20ml and 100ml EDP with fragrant matching body care products.

It makes a match to a fragrance for men with the same name.

Impressive on the first few sprays, very invigorating and elegant. Too bad the scent doesnt last long on me.
But I have to say it could be unisex coz the green notes remind me of "just-out-of the bath" feeling and could give you an energizing yet relaxing fix.

I had this one for a while and I had to give it up. Mislead by the reviews for "fresh", I was expecting something really juicy and ... well, fresh.

Truth is perfume opens up rather sweet, with the fruit sticky sweetness of the peach, then it gets green and kind of powdery.

Lasting power is not very good. Perhaps if I did not have the expectations for freshness, we would have gotten along somehow, especially in the summer.

This fragrance brings to mind what I think a rainforest should smell like! Despite being considered a floral green, its base is damp and muskier than I expected.

In the opening I get a lot of peach and a touch of citrus, then a nice floral mix that I can't distinguish notes from. The vanilla softens and sweetens as it goes, and for me the best part is the last few hours I wear it - absolutely beautiful!

I imagine that an array of lovely large tropical flowers under a damp canopy of huge trees might smell like the last few hours of this. The cashmere musk makes it very sexy and oh-so-sniffable. Decent staying power, about five hours on my skin.

Paradise...the name says it all. This fragrance smells fresh and invigorating, as if you've stepped into a lush and dewy rainforest full of fruit, green leaves, flowers, and woodes right after a summer shower.

The opening notes of tropical fruits are tempered by an alluring tart undercurrent. The scent is not so sweet as to be cloying. You are presented with a perfect balance.

The middle notes are where you experience the fragrance of enticing jasmine and green notes.

The basenotes are where this fragrance shines the most. We frequently see musk, vanilla, and sandalwood with many scents. But I have never seen a fragrance so perfectly blended with the floral and the warmer basenotes. The vanilla is understated and blends well as the jasmine folds into it, all accomplished while continually emphasizing the 'green' in its bouquet.

This is an extremely well done fragrance by Alfred Sung. I'm constantly asked what I am wearing, but I'll never tell.

I bought this because I like most of Sung's perfumes, this one unfortunately doesn't smell good on me. I get this strange smell and I can't help but to identify it as the smell of a doll's fake skin when you take it out of the box for the first time. It is quite odd, and I am disappointed because it sounded like I would like this perfume. Definitely try it before you buy to see how the notes develop with your chemistry.

Paradise: yes, a tropical one. I get all these tropical fruits in the opening notes, then in come the flowers.
The vanilla can definitely be detected, but it's not overdosed.
The mix is balanced, and it's great if you're or your surrounding is sensitive, since it's pretty light. I have only tried the perfume, and even that concentration is a light one.
It's a pretty mix and perfect for summer.

This is a great everyday type perfume. I think it could possibly be unisex.
