Dia pour Homme Amouage for men

Smells like a pretentious pimp - absolutely disgusting.

Dia is surely one of the most easy to wear fragrances among the Amouage masculines and, although this aspect is not enough to make of Dia a great composition, there are many other elements that contribute to its status as a "winner".

Yes, Gold is restrained and subtle but at the same time it has an extremely solid and thick structure made of dry woods and frankincense around of wich blooms a floral/citrus accord of incredible beauty. A slight suede note together with spices add an extra touch that sounds like a lash of tail working as a reminder that Dia is definitely a masculine fragrance. The drydown is (moderately) sweet with amber playing a remarkable part.

Overall Dia moves back and forth from powdery to woody via smoky-citrusy and does it with such a non-chalance we can only tolerate from an higher class composition (wich it surely is).

Don't let Dia tricks you as while it may result discreet at the same time it's incredibly long lasting and with a good sillage. A top quality fragrance.

Good, but it is unisex and women can wear it too. It has
Iris and its dry down reminds me of Prada Infusion, soapy and clean. Nice for office or day wear.

Dia for Men, along with Jubilation XXV, is the best Amouage masculine in my opinion. It's more restrained and controlled than Jubilation but still very unique. The incense combines with a classic fougère accord (lavender, coumarin) to create and unprecedented smoothness that can only be found in a good classic fougère. It's slick and refined, like a salmon-colored silk blanket. It's not on the notes list, but coumarin (hay) is definitely in there, of which I also smell in (the slightly similar) Chergui by Serge Lutens. Just comforting and smooth. Smooth like a perfect milkshake. Smooth like a freshly-powdered bottom. Dia is great for formal occasions and justifies its price because it has heart and personality. I don't find it too masculine or feminine either; I guess a woman could wear this one too, but I find it leaning more towards the masculine side.

The sillage and longevity are superb, and a little goes a long way as with every Amouage. Check this one out, you'll be glad that you did.

Amouage Dia is one of the most luxurious smelling fragrance I can think of. It`s perfect for absolutely any seasons and occasions, but works best with a classy attire. Extremely elegant and sophistcated. Dia is a typical Amouage fragrance with lots of quality ingredients. It`s not that strong and "big" as f.ex Silver, so you have to spray plenty. Stays close to the skin, but longevity is pretty good. Highly recommended! It`s the ultimate Amouage fragrance.

This is a wonderful men's scent and I would reccomend it for woman if you like leather type scents. This fragrance almost says classy sensuality when you wear it.

Dia pour homme has been reformulated. The once all bright, effervescent ginger-ale like scent has been modulated with a bit of darkness and while I resisted the change at first eventually I came to prefer the new version. It helps that the newer Dia has much better longevity. Like the original the projection is not outstanding on this one (unlike Gold, which I can't help thinking one reviewer here has confused with Dia, as talcum/loud fits Gold as a description far better than it does Dia.) The new bottles are also a lot more attractive!

Eww smells like 1985 gigolo. It reminds me of tabu talcum powder but not in a good way. Loud, obnoxious and the price is outrageous!

Dia Pour Homme for my nose is a unisex fragrance. The top notes are very green and fresh with a bright citrus note and remind me Guerlain's Eau de Cologne Imperiale in some way. It is a bit sharp, kind of soapy a little, but as the times goes by, the smell becomes softer, warmer and deeper, the smell of smoky leather and peonies appear on the skin, but their smell is very "oily".

It is a very pleasant fragrance that I would wear it myself with a great pleasure:)
