This delicate floral fragrance starts with fresh notes of water violet and purple freesia with a hint of green tropical leaves. The royal couple: splendid magnolia and the king of seduction jasmine blossom in the very heart of the fragrance. The base is oriental, warm and noble, consists of cedar, sandal and amber. The perfume was created by Maurice Roucel in 2007.

Amouage Reflection is watery, very light, musky. For me it's a daytime smell in spring or a perfume suitable for my work as a teacher. Actually, it's too light for my personal taste, but I like it enough to use it. I don't think I will buy a new one after this one is finished.

This is the first fresh scent from Amouage, what I ever smelled. The first thing, what I feel is cucumber! This is not the first time, when I feel not listed notes in the Amouage compositions..:) The second thing: Avon Be Spontaneous...I don't want to say: these are copy of each other, but the similarity is very marked.

Because I'm a " Be Spontaneous"-lover, I love this frag too, but it's more than overpriced. The sillage and lasting power the same with Avon product. Unfortunately Avon is discounted Be Spontaneous and very hard to find, but if you have luck, you able to buy this smell less than half price than Amouage.

I just bought the 50 ml bottle in kuweit airport for an incredible good price - 140$.The seeling girl insisted that is a good price for Amouage it looks like she was right. The perfume is great indeed, elegant, light, sheer and musky i would say. I would have liked more boldness to it thou. It has good longevity on my skin. Love it and cherish it, its an amouage after all!

Here we have a poshed up $235.00-EXPEN$$$iVE "j'ADORE". At the same time is WAY stronger, more potent - with an great sillage - compared to DIOR j'ADORE EDP. But common now, $230.00 (€160 Euro for 50ml) for **ONE 50ML** bottle!?! REFLECTION is also almost identical to "DROPS OF ME" (Neotantric Fragrances). I'll stick to my dear 'DROPS of ME' with just as much sillage! A fine perfume from our swedish niche-brand NEOTANRIC FRAGRANCE!! ("Drops of ME" Price: $100 for 100ml)

Amouage REFLECTION WOMAN opens with a distinctive watery greenishness that gradual cedes to the dominant violet in this composition, which expands over time and abides in the drydown along with an only slightly woody base.

REFLECTION is a beautiful violet-focused perfume in some ways reminiscent of Bond no 9 EAU DE NOHO, though the linden blossom has been replaced here by certain unnamed "green" and aquatic notes, in addition to magnolia and freesia. REFLECTION is also less bright, which might be good news for some who feel overwhelmed by the Bond composition.

I, on the other hand, prefer the lush vibrancy and megaphonicity of EAU DE NOHO to the more refined subtlety of REFLECTION. But I do like this creation very much. Good work, Maurice!

I would start with the fact that I am not a big fan of florals but two of my favourite flowers (freesia and magnolia) were involved so became a must try.

I like the water-melony burst and the beginning which slowly turns into melony-magnolias and then ambery-magnolias. This frag is just beautiful, I just inhale and inhale all day.

Any regrets testing it? Yes and no. It is a unique fragrance and I utterly adore it... where is the bitter part? I feel I should have not tried it because there is a part in me that wants it really bad.. Pricey, pricey, pricey.

Kastehelmi has solved a puzzle for me - namely the peculiar fruity green notes in the top. They are in fact very melon-esque. Being in polite company, we won't dwell too much on the rather too realistic incontinence of said melon...

As the perfume progresses it moves into an entirely new and unfamilar territory for me. The magnolia is the most prominent note here for me but other notes add a watery edge to it. If I didn't know better I would think a lotus flower was involved. Free-range jasminic indoles contribute a suprisingly refined and conservative depth here as well.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a 'light' floral, although I think I prefer the term 'delicate' because this perfume has real levity and robustness behind it.

Reflection actually does reminds me of mirrored glass. Clear, shiny, silver, reflective. The delicacy of the perfume seems like it is being smelled as a reflection of something more real, and possibly threatening, like Plato's cave shadows.

Unlike all Roucel's other work, appreciation of Reflection did not come easily to me. It has taken me a good three seperate testings to come to terms with the other-wordly beauty of this strange scent. I still find it unsettling but there is that compelling attraction which keeps bringing me back to learn more.

Love this fragrance!! Goes on very light. Lasting power very good. Very clean floral smell. One of my favorites. Now if only I had enough money to buy a full-size bottle.

“Reflection” is a prima ballerina. The scent notes say ylang-ylang, magnolia, and jasmine. And for a minute that is true, like the chorus opening on to the dance floor, linked hand in hand and moving in seamless unison. Then the individual notes recede, and the full body of “Reflection” steps out, an exquisite floral abstract, connoting the soft pink sheen of toe shoes. There are no flaws to this scent, no ragged edges, no notes that ever step out of line and distort the scent shape.

If “Reflection” were just the floral element, it would be very, very good. But “Reflection” has one thing more that makes it astounding: an “aquatic” element.. Like standing out on a pier right before dawn over a still, cool pond.

Holy smoke -- $270.00! I'd have to take out a loan for this perfume ... or, sell my first-born. Hmmm, now there's a thought ...

As natural, cool, refreshing and beautiful as a glass of cold water.

This is sure to bring reliev in the middle of the hottest summer, but I have that strange idea that it also might work in winter.

Transparent, soft, exclusive, ladylike but still modern, an amazing perfume... Warms up nice, with a little fruity character, a little creaminess, so pretty and well done.

It´s aquatic without ever being bland or to fresh.

Longlasting and oh, very nicely lingering too.

Like a lotus flower floating in the morning fog in a beutiful pond.

Must try!

I agree with Jeca . It's a lot lighter than the other Amouage scents . It's light yet has lasting power. I love the body creme as it is moisturising and still quite strong enough.
