This very lovely woody fragrance opens quite aggressively with vetiver over lavender. Within just a few moments the cedar and patchouli emerge to mingle side by side with the vetiver--- rendering the lavender an afterthought. As the fragrance begins its drydown, the vetiver, cedar, and patchouli settle onto a bed of sandalwood that is aromatically enhanced with lavender. The lavender is there but it is fleeting. If you love sandalwood and patchouli, they are blended wonderfully in this fragrance and become 'front' and 'center' in the drydown. This perfume compostion unfolds very beautifully and I enjoy it from opening to heart to drydown.
