Silk by Andrea Maack is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Silk was launched in 2011. The fragrance features citruses, violet leaf, freesia, flax, magnolia, soil tincture, papyrus, vanille and amber.
Andrea Maack is a true artist and I admire her conceptual vision of art, fragrance, and fashion.
I really wanted to try this new scent! The notes
are a little conventional,but I just wanted a
pretty spring fragrance, nothing too out there,
as are some of her other creations.I picked up
the violet, and the green freshness of it`s leaves.
Magnolia, amber, and vanilla gave it a warm creamy
sweetness. The papyrus added to the smooth creaminess,
very little citrus was detected, but it cut the possible
too sweet floral effect.Next I picked up the earthy
soil. Not like a bouquet of flowers, but as if they were
growing right out of the damp garden soil!
Very close to the skin scent, demure, and introspective.
I just wish this would last longer,one hour,too bad.I
really like this.
