The first impressions was - I actually like it, the osmanthus at the first opening is extremely noticable and it has this sticky, syrupy feel to it, I'm not usually a fan, but here it works good together with the fruits. If we speak of fruits, on my sking at the opening part the most noticable are soapy peaches and of course fig. Actually this smells like an expensive sweet soap or shampoo, something along Body Shop fruity lines.

The heart actually is almost the same as the opening, I get tiny, tiny bits of berries, but still fig/peach/osmanthus combo stays the strongest. In addition, there are loads of musk at the background and for me it's not the most enjoyable scent, it feels a bit "cheap" and reminds me a bit of unwashed skin.

The drydown is enjoyable, but I must say it's nothing special, it's still heavy on osmanthus, feels very feminine/sweet, but unfortunately cheap smelling and very similiar to many other drugstore scents and doesn't smell "niche" at all. I wasn't able to find what's the price for this, but I'd say - not worth more than 20$, if I'd find this so cheap, I'd probably grab a bottle just for the juicy, sweet opening.

The first impression I got from this was soapy, more like a bar of unscented laundry soap than upscale bath soap. Then the musk hits! It’s a super-strong musk, part laundry musk and part old-fashioned drugstore musk, overpowering any hint of fig or vetiver that might be cowering somewhere in a corner, afraid of being bludgeoned to death. The sillage is all over the place, impossible to get out of my nose. If I stick my nose right on my wrist I can detect what might be a dried fig accord and/or something slightly sweet and fruity, but I wouldn’t find it unless I went looking for it.

The musk is still on my skin more than 24 hours after applying the stuff and showering. It will probably be on my clothing forever. First I was disappointed by Citrus Sorbet, now it's Fig & Vetiver. Two strikes for Anthousa. I am not enthused.

I have a trio of Anthousa perfume oils with Fig and Vetiver, Citrus Sorbet and White Tuberose. Fig and Vetiver is my favorite of the bunch. Juicy figs on woody vetiver and rosewood, with a hint of musk (which I smell but don't see listed as an ingredient here). The overall effect is soft, surprisingly NOT sweet in spite of the fig and all those other fruits, and definitely unisex. The perfume oil trio comes in a cute little three-pack of rollerball bottles. The Fig and Vetiver lasts all day and has decent sillage for an oil-based scent. It also layers nicely with the White Tuberose for a different effect.
