Yep, grapefruit. The opening is real fresh like you're smelling newly squeezed juice. The fragrance also has a bit of the bitterness like from the rind. I think that helps the fragrance last. The drydown is more soapy, less fresh. I think either a man or woman could wear it quite easily.
