the ginger reminds me another rosendo mateu creation the carolina herrera 212.
I love this perfume. I have this forever. I always wear it. When it's first time on skin, you can really smell pepper. Then it calms down into really fresh spicy smell. Smells like sea and sand. Awesome.
Puig creates a new version of "aqua fresca" by adolpho domingues! The same fragrance in different price
I used to wear this for years till they changed the formula somewhat in the middle of 2000s or they just started to use less quality ingredients (I guess). Its still a great fragrance but since then I find the opening a little bit harsh, more woody, more synthetic, and I feel a hidden but annoying plastic flavor in it, but after an hour it calms down a bit and leaves a nice musky drydown.
Its fresh, but not clean, it gives a discrete earthy refreshing saltwater feel like none of the aquatics.
Although it doesnt smell cheap, you can definitely tell that the components could be much more refined (especially the vetiver), but its ok since this is a cheapy one after all. And the sprayer is far from perfect too, mine has stopped working after I used the half of the bottle.
Probably this is the most unique frag from Antonio Banderas, especially because the other ones are mostly copies of some mainstream colognes.
I think it has some distant similarities with CH 212 Men like bergamot, ginger, vetiver, pepper... and the creator, but this is more mature (add 10-15 years), more manly and more classic and less potent, easy to distinguish from every other fragrance once you smelled it.
Good for signature scent if you are on budget and like the ingredients, dont believe that AB frags are joke or bad, they are pretty good compared to their prices.
I've never been a fan of Antonio Banderas' Perfumes but still this a great choice for a daily use scent. Smells fresh, critusy and spicy. For its price, longevity is quite good (2 to 3 hours) and a good 1 hour of monster sillage. Worth buying it for a cheap price.
I got a shower gel and I found the wonderful smell and when I bought the perfume disappointed, horrible, very artificial and cheap.
Even though it is characterized as a woody aromatic, I can not help thinking of it as an "acquatic citric": top notes are quite generic, but the hesperidic notes in M's dry-down are quite nice. It has good sillage and longevity, so it might be regarded as a good value for money.
For those abhorring "celebuscents", don't be misled by the brand: Antonio Bandera's manufacturer is Antonio Puig, the same manufacturer behind classic Spanish eaux like Heno de Pravia and Agua Lavanda Puig as well as designer scents, like Comme des Garçons, Carolina Herrera and Paco Rabanne.
Ideal scent for hot days, therefore supplies the sensation of coolness and bath taken, during the entire day. It possesses a reasonable lasting and the price is the most attractive. I always receive many compliments when I wear it.
Word that translates this perfume: freshness
Well, i used to be a fan of this one... till the day i got too much of it on my wrist... it is strong, and gave my girl a headache... i tought it was elegant, but it's more like for those who don't care bout a thing, but with a good dressing
As for me, it's a perfect fragrance!
Tried the other day and I must say that this one smells just like sweat... very salty... and sweaty... urgh.
