Aqaba Spring is an exquisite, floral fragrance which brings a fresh experience of fields of flowers. The top notes bring gentle wafts of mandarin orange, black currant flower buds, and cinnamon. The heart reveals the nightblooming Egyptian jasmine blended with the the three Queens of Flowers: Damask, Morroc and Turkish rose, while the peach and appricot flowers gently slide into a long-lasting trace created of clove-pink buds and vanilla-Bourbon.
The fragrance is captured into an interesting round-shaped bottle the details of which are reminiscent of the ancient love story – the faux gem represents the precious stone inlaid throne of Sheba, while the heavy brass bottle cap features the crowns of ancient royalty. The bottle comes in a red draw-string pouch reminiscent of Arabian jewelry pouches.
The nose behind this fragrance is Thierry Wasser.

I love oriental and spicy perfumes, but this one turns much too sweet on my skin. I get too much apricot and peach, and hardly any spices.

AQABA SPRING is a beautiful young sister to AQABA CLASSIC. She is fun and radiant but she is also passionate and mysterious like her older sister. I can see this beautiful princess walking in the night garden of blooming roses smiling at the stars, dancing and signing gentle songs of the orient.
I fell in love with the original AQABA and AQABA SPRING impressed me as much. It is lighter than the original, which makes it perfect for daytime and spring/summer time but it still is a beautiful luscious oriental scent with a magnificent bouquet of roses in the heart.
AQABA SPRING starts fresh with mandarin, blackcurrant leaves and bergamot. But as soon as the scent touches my skin the cinnamon shows up and adds a spicy oriental note. The composition is wrapped into seductive sweetness of the honeyed apricots. The gorgeous oriental floral heart notes combine Turkish, Damask and Morocco roses with jasmine. The roses are gorgeous in this fragrance, just absolutely gorgeous! They are sweet, luscious and full bodied. The cinnamon and spices add character but they are not as strong as in other oriental perfumes. The fragrance remains beautiful, enthralling, and seductive bouquet of spicy sweet roses for hours.
I am in love with both, AQABA and AQABA SPRING. These perfumes are amazing. This sillage is wonderful. I love the fact that this EDP has outstanding sillage – most perfumes these days do not. The longevity is over 10 hours. AQABA SPRING is perfect for daytime and spring/summer time. AQABA CLASSIC is perfect for special occasion and fall/winter. I tested it as a sample a month ago and I had to purchase a full bottle right away. The scent is very comforting and seems to brighten the mood. I get compliments whenever I wear this scent.
perfect! a never liked florals, but suppose i just didn´t try the right of them. at first i felled in love with aqaba sands, now, when the weather is warmer but still chilly, i adore aqaba spring. it´s nothing like ordinary mainstream shampooish "spring" fragrances, it´s much havier and richer, and really gorgeous. don´t expect something mainstream will offer you for spring, however, the feeling is really springy - perfect for a chilly spring when the sun is not coming yet and you desperately need to cheer yourself up. rich, sparkling, balmy spring flowers
This smells like a cross between Monyette Paris and Blv by Bvlgari on my skin-but better (more alive) than either of them. I'm not too fond of either-This is too sweet and powdery, but still quite pretty overall.
very balmy and feminine fragrance. the opening posseses the same aromatic freshness like the other fragrances of the collection. you can clearly smell clove pink, but soon the freshness is replaced with the floral bouquet which gives it softer and more velvety nuance. you can sense jasmine and rose, but actually, none of the flowers dominates. the trace is sweetish with a hint of fruity freshness.
it brings an image of light azure color in my mind when smelling it. :)
