The intense spicy notes last about an hour and finally the cotton candy makes an entrance. Its not as wild and crazy as the spicy beginning. It smells like burnt caramel and raspberry flavored cotton candy.
The dry down is my favorite part, mellow and smooth with vanilla, caramel and lingering licorice. I wasn't expecting so many layers and depth to this one. It changes dramatically from beginning to end..
What a fun perfume to wear and the bottle is very cute! Pink Sugar is strong and really lasts so it doesn't take much. I can see where this would be SUGAR OVERLOAD with too much on!!

Since testing Pink Sugar I am convinced that by living in a country where this fragrance is extremely popular may change the way one views this scent. When I smelt Pink Sugar for the very first time I was really impressed. I had expected to gag and screw up my face with displeasure, however this scent was unique and very likable.
The reviews I read prior to smelling this were not wrong in describing Pink Sugar as being sugary sweet. However, although there are some similiarities to Fantasy by Britney Spears, Pink Sugar has a much more prominent note of liquorice that creates an undoubtedly unique and intriguing blend.
The scent although a gourmand, is in no way a cheap smelling candy fragrance. There is a certain warmth and attractiveness about this fragrance that I happen to really love.
Pink Sugar smells more like a cupcake shop or a bakery rather than a candy store. If candy is what you're after I suggest you try Showtime by Kylie Minogue.
I can certainly see how this fragrance has become so popular overseas, it's a shame Australia hasn't grasped brands other than Chanel and celebrity endorsed products.
For such a unique and long lasting fragrance, Pink Sugar is definitely worth a try even if you think it might not be for you.

And.. by the way, it is really strong so it should be used only in small doses utherwise it can cause unpleasant headache LOL.

A girl sprayed this on her in a public restroom while I was in a stall, and I could smell it. Then as I left the trail was all over the place. We all have different sensibilities, but to me, that is embarrassing. And of course, I didn't care for it so to smell it everywhere, and worry that it would catch on my clothes, is really unpleasant. I think the polite thing to do is to understand what you like about this scent and get one that is more friendly to others, other who don't necessarily share your enthusiasm for a fragrance.
Secondly, the scent is not very well made, and gives me a headache and makes me itch when I tried it a the store. I think some people aren't as sensitive as others but, none the less, it's scents like Pink Sugar (totally appropriate name) that make people hate perfume wearers!

But perfumes are a bit defferent. It's simple and sweet fragrance but unfortuntely sweetness is break by licorice (lakritze).. oh, god, it's terrible! My fiance hate it! Licorice is owful! This fragrance has beauty, sickly smell but can kill everybody around when you use it little more. Persistence is not great, for this money sholud be better.
I like it, but rare and in small doses :)

It smells like Cotton Candy!
Its sweet, but not in a cheap way.
Its a premium perfume that can enrich every cold and boring winter day with a sense of sugar and vanillia.
People sometimes tell me that i smell like cookies, cake or ginger bread when i wear Pink Sugar.
Always when i put it on it raises a smile in my face. Not a lot of fragrances have that abillity :-)
If you like foody flavours, you will love it!

I don't get bored with this fragrence, like I do with everything else I've tried over the years.
The first time I wore Pink Sugar to work one colleague commented on the aroma of drinking chocolate as I was in the lift with her. The next time I was in the lift, everyone commented on my lovely vanilla perfume. After I applied a freshen up spray, another colleague said she could smell cakes! Yet another colleague demanded to know what I was wearing, and where she could get some.
Strangers come up to me in the street to ask what scent I'm wearing... No this isn't a cheesy ad, it really happened!!
What do I sense first? Liquorice, a rich aniseed scent that gradually settles into a middle note of caramel. Marshmallow is the first word that springs to mind to me.
If you like Angel, Fantasy or Princess you need to give this a try!

He sniffed me & told me I smell like food. Then a little bit later I asked if I should wear this again & he told me "Only if you want to smell like a candle"
He is right. It really does smell like a vanilla candle.I don't get much of the licorice on me but I do get caramel & vanilla.
There isn't much depth to this either. It is a flat scent & it's very thick & stuffy to me as well.Thick as in, the air around it could be cut with a knife.
It isn't a bad smell though. It would be great if you just want to smell like a candle or a cake.

bought it and enjoying in every drop of this gorgeous perfume...I would say-for sophisticated women, not girlie girls....

I like to put it on then get asleep. It's nice in the morning when licorice note is gone.
I love it very much, the top notes are a bit bitter (Oh, I can feel ginger)then it becomes sweet and really pleasant on me, I just can't sniff enough. I really love sweet perfumes and this one is very good. It has very good lasting power for EDT. i have only 1 oz bottle for a year now. It's pleasure to wear it and I really will miss it when it's over, then I'll order a new one. The 30ml bottle fits into hand perfectly and is nice itself.
Be careful with this if you have horses, they can chew your hair!
P.S' they haven't get mine ;D

They don't bite, but still it's not nice to have bumblebees following you.. I don't use this at nice summerdays.

I don't buy perfume often, but this one is so different from all the fruity and floral ones out there. It's not a serious-minded perfume, like Fendi or Chanel. It's all artificial food flavoring, and I guess enjoyable for people who grew up on Hostess cupcakes and Twinkies (as my husband and I did).
