It was so hard for me to stop sniffing this perfume in the shop. Fairly, one of the best and softest chypre one out there which seems to be purified and masterly crafted.
The scent is linear and goes in a soft and vintage mood without booze and sharpness. Just a floral soft and divine undertone leads the scent from A to Z in a musky classic and romantic way.
Maybe Statson by Coty be an example for this pure and decent blend. Doesn’t disturb and doesn’t bore. For who smell it on you, it’s a surprising contact point when they just sniff and find you a high class polite manly man.
Longevity: last for long specially on skin, 10/10
Projection: projects just as powerful as its longevity and stays with durability, 10/10

Although many of the reviews I read for different colognes on this site talk about the opening, middle, and dry down as being detectably distinct from one another, I don't usually get this experience. Maybe it's my nose, or maybe the colognes I like are more linear. If anything I sense only slight variations in most scents from the time sprayed on until the fade away hours later. That being said, with Aramis Devin I can definitely detect very distinct phases in the cologne as it evolves on my skin.
This is not, nor was it ever, a flanker of the original Aramis scent.
It starts out sharp, herbal, and green with tame citrus undertones. Twenty to thirty minutes in and the sharpness is gone. It's now a very nice herbal/citrus blend. A little earthy, but that's what I like about it.
It remains an ultra masculine scent despite a faint floral/cinnamon note that warms it up a bit.
In dry down, it's completely different. While still herbal, it's less green and far more dry, leathery, and woodsy. I can detect the pine and cedar notes but they are not strong. I don't detect any amber or patchouli. Very well blended. Very enjoyable. I can't get enough it smells so good. Delicious!
It's complex and rich from beginning to end, but always easy on the nose. I prefer it for day use, but it's appropriate for evening. In my opinion it works in any season. It is well suited to my conservative tastes.
Devin is another longtime favorite that would lose some of its appeal if every Tom, Dick, and Harry were wearing it. Glad to see it is still around. Thank you Bernard Chant, and thank you Aramis!
The opening is very sharp and harsh, the dry down is nice.
I prefer the original aramis
A deep leather and herbal fragrance, absolutely unique and potent. Definitely for the mature man. It's an aquired taste if you're a mature gentleman. I like this one a lot.
A superb deep green masculine cologne that is rich and complex. A low key but long lasting quality gem. Very macho and conservative.
It is very mature, extremely classic pioneer amon chypre fragrances.
It is a FiFi award winner fragrance of 1978. absolutely not for everyone.
Excellent longevity and good silage.
Perfect for romantic mood and evening time. It is a supreme amalgm of grass, early morning dew and sweet aroma of moist sand.
I give it 8.5 out of 10
Aristocratic aroma. Bitter taste, floral. Individual.
A bold and extermly attractive smell that purely for men, late evening wear make one to be The most attarcive person.
I loved it and still loving
